Reverse breeding is great and all, but terribly expensive. On top of the breeding fee you have to provide a toy bundle and a food bundle, which together cost 200sb, making reverse breeding way too costly to do regularly, as is possible with studding.

I don't propose removing these requirements, as I think it's appropriate to support the lioness carrying your cubs, but I'd love if there was a way to craft these bundles.

Maybe via the monkey business, similar to crafting nesting materials? It could work exactly like that existing feature, craft twenty or so uses uses for a food bundle, and maybe ten uses of amusement or however much that item gives for a toy bundle. I think a lot more people have those things laying around than are able to pay 200sb plus the regular breeding fee for one breeding, especially if someone wants to breed multiple lionesses.

I'd love to hear your suggestions!

Toy bundles I might understand, but in my opinion Food Bundles just wouldn’t work.

When it comes to the bundle, everything inside could have different expiry dates. Either that, or the bundle would make a loophole where it can reset a food items expiry dates. If everything had to have the same expiry date, it’d still be annoying and far too specific. Also, with this, people could essentially have infinite food as food bundles to date do not expire. I just don’t think it’s the same as nesting material, and it’s not really hard to get those items from explore if you do explore a lot or have patience.

Nesting Material makes more sense to me to craft than Food Bundles or Toy Bundles. Nesting Materials are a compact way to nest lionesses more easily in bulk, which is why you can craft them.

I don’t see the reverse breeding feature being used enough for it to be a worry- it’s main use is for hybrids and expensive lions. You’re not meant to reverse-breed in mass. But users who reverse-breed rarer lions and mutations like those come prepared anyway.

If you reverse-breed in mass, it’s not even worth it as you may as well save up to buy a lion of the kind you want anyway. Reverse breedings and studdings are very different.

It’ll be a no-support from me purely because of how annoying or loop-holy the mechanics might be.

This is a good idea! I would love to be able to craft Toy and Food bundles for reverse breeding!
Building off of this idea, I wouldn't mind if they weren't sellable, though it'd be cool if they were.

Oh, that's true! I hadn't considered that food bundles don't expire, but you're absolutely right. Maybe there could be a difference between explore and monkey bundles, and player-made, so that player-made bundles expire in their entierety as soon as the earliest bundled food bundle expires? Or make it so that reverse breeding requires so-and-so many percent of hunger being sent with the request?
I know reverse breeding isn't that widespread, but I'd really love if it were affordable for more people than just those who can afford expensive lions and hybrids.

Was just thinking about that. Maybe player-made food bundles could have an expiration date, vs monkey-bought food bundles.
Though, that IS a lot of coding to implement.

I'd agree more towards reverse breeding needing carcasses of a percent hunger being sent tbh
