I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that so I'm just going to explain a few things.

You can have as many adult male lions as you want, as long as you have enough submale slots for them. You can buy those on your profile but they get more expensive the more you buy. You can only patrol with them. Breeding is only possible with your king, which you can only have 1 of at a time.

A king has 2 aspects; 'looks' and let's just call it 'other' for now. When you king a new lion you can choose to keep the looks of the previous one or take the looks of the new one. Looks contain: base+genetics, eye color, mane type, mane color, and markings. The 'other' part contains: age, personality, stats, heritage, mutation, level, and impression. This part always changes to that of the new king.

If you want to king a different lion, it's important to look at the age of the current king. If he is younger than 15, you need to pay 10 GB to retire him, this is called force retirement. If he's 15-16 it's free. Once he's 16 year old, you are forced to retire him. If it's been less than 30 rollovers since you last force retired, you need to pay an additional GB fee.
