An Uncanny Valley CS

Uncanny Valley - A deeply unsettling feeling when something looks so close to what you are, But not quite.

The NyctoMaren are a CS, or Closed Species. This means you cannot make one without explicit permission.

These are creatures that have a body somewhere between animal and human. Their faces are very human in appearance, albiet with a snout like appearance, And without nostrils. These creatures tend to join into groups of other creatures, melding into their social structure and crossbreeding with them.

The NyctoMaren can appear in any colour. Some stand out from their environment like neon signs, Others may match the natural hues of their environment far better than most local fauna.

Hope you don't mind the random comment, but I was wondering what happened to the species? I absolutely love the art, concept and designs, one of the coolest species I've ever seen. I was so excited for these and seeing they randomly went inactive was upsetting. Was it moved somewhere else? Discontinued?
