When Spiral'Paw joined ShadowMend's pride, it took little time for her to see it as home. She grew into a clever hunter, as it was her favorite past time. If she didn't hunt everyday, she felt uneasy and pent up, she made a point to follow in her mother's/Paradox's, pawprints as 2nd in command huntress. Rising through the ranks quickly from her cunning tactics, and powerful personality. After she gave birth to her cubs, she knew it was the perfect time to find another cub for her to nurse. ShadowMend II supported this idea, as he remembers Paradox telling him about the pride that gave SpiralPaw to her and to bring her the next time they visit. SpiralPaw packed beetles, both silver and gold and took flight, her paws hitting the soft ground with such precision, no one could hear her coming. Traveling deep through the azure forest, as day turned into night, the canopy trees swayed in her wake, dry lands turning into misty forests, to lush grasslands. She knew she was close, familiar vines curled delicately around spiraling branches, which croaked in the wind. Memories flashed as the scent of her safe haven became apparent; dopamine rushed through her system as sparks of GoldBlood, TreeFlight, and all her childhood friends threatened to bring tears to her eyes. She missed them more than she thought. Vast leaves flickered across her vision as she made her way through the meadow, the scent of sweet pollen drifted through the archways of curving branches, halos of light peeking through the leaves, warming Sprial'Paws face. Finally she found her old home, a pride took their territory in a grassland below the hill she stood on. She spotted the Pink Manned lion first, she couldn't help but whimper in excitement as she ran, seeing TreeFlight guarding the same den she was customed to. TreeFlights guard was immediately raised, it only slightly lessened after a few seconds when he recognized SpiralPaw. The biggest thing he noticed was her scent, she recently gave birth to her own 3 cubs, which is even more apparent due to her stretched belly skin. Spiral paw was there to add another to her litter, and what better place to go to than the place she was raised.

GoldBlood saw the lioness running towards him, shocked that he couldn't hear a single paw touching the ground. The smile on her face seemed contagious, he felt one creeping onto his own face. He reared in excitement. Pawing at the air, purring loudly as a greeting spilled from him.
"You're here! and you're so big, and so quiet. I couldn't hear you from five tail-lengths infront of me! How have you been, are you eating well? you look thin." questions and exited comments filled the area, he only realized his barrage of questions might have been overwhelming when he had to take a deep drink of air.

Neptune looked around a bit, then looking back at GoldBlood. "You see, we have a lot of cubs come and go in my pride. Currently, we have many that we simply cannot care for, that i believe would find a good home someday."

"Would you like us to hold them? temporarily or to find a home ourselves?" he smiled.

"It would be much appreciated for you to find them a home, as it seems you would be much better at doing so then i would" She laughed a bit. "If you give me a little time, i can take them here."

Spiral’Paw smiled, her tail wagged as her muscles tensed with excitement; like she was a cub all over again, “Yes! I’m doing well, oh sooo well! I haven’t seen you in so long I-“ SpiralPaw trailed off, abruptly stopping the conversation when TreeFlight huffed a welcoming. He was not as massive as she remembered, or perhaps she herself was bigger? SpiralPaw seemed to forget all formal greetings, as she tackle hugged his large stature, TreeFlight took notice at her growth, but it was no problem in comparison to his strength, though he didn’t have to be as delicate with her as he was when she was just a tiny cub.

TreeFlight laughed, out of excitement, it almost seemed that tears of joy would spill from his eyes. Loud purring flowed from his throat, he nipped her ears playfully, licking her and running around her while cubs laughed running around and absorbing the excitement that was pouring into the air.

"Have you gotten your warrior name yet? Are you a warrior? A hunter? A medicine lion?"

Taleeo took a look around the cave, observing each cub before laying his eyes on the handsome deer looking adolescent. He smiled in the direction of the cub as the cub glanced over and returned the kind smile. "If I could, I'd love to adopt Forest'Paw." Taleeo said warmly to GoldBlood, "He might make a good heir." He smiled.

The king walked into the den, his steady gaze focused on the other that greeted him at the entrance.

As he looked over all of the cubs with a serious look, he paused to make his pick.

"I would like that one," He ordered, pointing to Gray Paw. But another one caught his eye. "Oh, but what about Painted Paw*?" He mumbled to himself.

"Oh well. If Painted Paw is not available, I will take Gray Paw. May I make a reservation?"

He saw the two eager cubs staring at him with a shimmer in their eyes.

"I will take Painted Paw," he said. Gray Paw's smile faded away, but Painted Paw's only became bigger as his eyes widened.

"Don't worry, I know someone will come for you," He whispered to Gray Paw.
