i've only been on lioden for a little under two weeks, but i've quickly caught onto how the site functions and the culture of players here. specifically, the types of players and how they name their lions. here's a list of what i've noticed, pls comment some more if you have some too!!

types of players naming lions
- never grew out of their warrior cats phase
whether or not they're in it for the roleplay, these guys are easy to spot because all of their lions follow typical warrior cats naming rules. cubs named (noun)-kit, adols named (noun)-paw, adults named (noun)-(cat anatomy part), and then bonus points for kings being named (noun)-star.

- breeders
i do not yet understand the lingo, but the cubs are named based on their marking descriptions and usually have player numbers in the footnote because they're reserved for different players. frequent in the giveaway and sales chats.

- name lions like cats at an animal shelter
sparky, rose, fluffy, steven, scooby, snowy (frequent use of names that end in -y)

- these shits
captain ballsucker, flamebalz, smegmaman, freddy fazbear

- the badass ones
actually put a lot of care into naming lions, even potato ones or ncls. you'll find cool fantasy-inspired names, and often names from different african languages and cultures. if these guys have css, it looks very aesthetically pleasing.

- naming lions is too much pressure
subgenre of the mfs who name lions like cats at an animal shelter, but these guys are so bad because sometimes the lion is named "idk" or is just called "cub" even when they age up to an adult.

- names lions like 13-year-olds on wattpad naming their ocs
if your lion is named nightwing, darkfire, blood, silver, or anything emo you are this person.

- reads books
these are the guys who name their lions after harry potter and percy jackson characters.

- the LORE
lions have the most beautiful made-up names ever with detailed lion bios... either have immaculate or cringey css with headache inducing font colors in their den. take pvp seriously. bonus points if they have cool fonts for their lion names or decorative emojis. these mfs are extra and i have so much respect for all the character they give their pride and the dedication to the aesthetic.

- the amalgamation
these guys just do not care that much and you'll find lions fitting every description listed above in their pride.

- the Lazies/Idc's (credit to The Freak #185138)
these people dont do ANYTHING, only lion named in their pride is probably their king. Even then their name is probably something generic like j o h n. Meanwhile the rest of the pride dont even got names, and if they do its probably just some spammed name💀 How long have you been on this site, years!? Aint no way...
