Last year my parent's split a few days before Christmas, so it's hard around this time of year. What hurts me more is to see my dad get me stuff I don't need, want, won't wear, or even not use. He got me a pink beanie with earbuds in them. Which is cool, but I don't wear beanies, and I don't listen to music often. He then got me a water bottle with a horse and my name on it which I already have something similar, and I don't need another water bottle when we just threw away several of them. I don't even use half of them! Plus it hurts a lot seeing my brother get things that he wanted and will use while I only got a couple of things I actually like...talk about worst Christmas ever to find out my dad doesn't trust me and doesn't even know me well enough to know what I like...I'm literally in tears rn.. 0 players like this post!
