Hello! My name is Lumi. Popular vote decided that Surrelian's 3rd Design (viewable on page 7) is the winner! Congratulations! - So, thanks to a wonderful person and the blessings of rngesus, a x5 Cinnabar was recently born. Now, he is kinged โย one of two x5+ cinnabomb kings in LD. Now, I need a good design for him. - This is where y'all come in! For 10  you will design a gorgeous king! Please use all 10 marking slots, and read the rules for the best chance at winning!Rules 1. Do not remove the Cinnabar markings or change their slot number. You can change the Cinnies' opacity. You can remove the other markings. 2. Make sure that all bases/eyes/manes/mane colors/markings are applicable! I can't use breed only stuff. 3. Only use the first 10 slots. I don't like or use slots 11-20 UNLESS you use the 11+ markings as "finishing" markings. 4. Change anything you want except for the Cinnie Markings. You can add decors and backgrounds! Anything to make your design look saucier! 5. You can use mutations in your designs if you want. 6. Do not use mane markings in Slots 1-10! I've never cared much for them. If you want to use mane markings, you're welcome to IN SLOTS 11-20. 7. You are allowed to do however many entries as you want! If you see that none of your designs are in my favorites, feel free to make another! ^.^ :) Likes I adore colorbombs with all my heart! A design that is dark-themed with the cinnabar acting as a pink contrast would be beautiful. I am partial towards hibiscus and water hyacinth markings. I love them, but if they clash with a theme you're making, don't use them! I dig details. I look at the eyes, the skin, the base, the mane color, and the mane type. (Please change the base, eyes, mane, mane color, and skin to fit your design.) I don't care how much you change just as long as it looks good. Dislikes I am not a fan of Hyena or Proteles markings. Also not a fan of chatoyant markings. I dislike all brawl, rumble, and squabble markings. Grunge is okay but just okay. Normally, I'm not a fan of immolation, either. But, if you can make it look good in your design, use it! :D Example of a colorbomb design. (Do not copy this design, it is simply a reference.) Example of a dark design. @Plexiez - I love the base! The blue is very nice. Merlot Nuzzle is not a marking that I can use, though, as it is non-applicable. Also, I wish the colors that were in your design were a bit... brighter? More defined? Maybe move up the opacity on some markings, and drop the opacity on others. Ty! 0 players like this post! @Plexiez - I love playing around with colors, too, and I honestly love design contests โย hosting them, and entering them. Anyways, thanks for swapping out the nuzzle! But I still think it needs something... Maybe, you could increase the opacities of some cinnie marks while decreasing others? @Zero - Thank you! I've got a few personal critiques, and if you're interested, you can find them on page 7. As for part two, I love the little splotches of green at the bottom. Quick suggestion: I'm not a fan of browns in colorful studs; maybe you could replace the reindeer with a bluish marking? - @Surrelian - oh my GOSH I love how red it is. Gottanother favorite. - @Lily - I'm going to be using a poll to decide who wins. Once I have collected a few more days' worth of designs, I'm going to post the poll. I'll give everyone who enters 50SB for voting, so people actually have incentive to vote. The people who voted for the design that wins will receive one refunded stud or a gift that's worth roughly the same amount. I'd like at least 100 people to give me their opinions โย it shouldn't take too long! - @HeartofSilver - I love the Elysian 9, but having Ebony 9 in front of it feels a bit redundant. Otherwise, you're doing a good job of making immolation work! - Updating! You can find your updated designs and my critiques on page 7! @Zero - Of course! I do want everyone to do the best they possibly can; giving constructive criticism is beneficial for both the designer and myself. Not only that, but designing lions is, in a sense, an art form; it's something to be learned, just as you well know! I'd like to thank you for the kind words and effort. - @Blossom - Thanks, but that's not really what I meant by using cinnabar markings. The link I've supplied in the post contains all the information about cinnabar markings you need. That is to say, keep the cinnabar markings in their respective slots and work around them โย don't add new ones or delete current ones. @Everyone - Alrighty, it's time for me to close the contest! No more designs will be accepted. Within a few hours, I'll post a new thread that will allow popular vote to decide the winning design! Everyone who votes will receive 50SB for voting. I'll keep track of the number of votes, as well as who votes what. After I gather enough votes (~100-150), I'll close the poll. Whoever voted for the winning design will receive 1 refunded breeding to my king, redeemable whenever. The designs I have chosen are represented by a โ next to their designer's name and link.
