I just say this, and I am not quite sure. A higher chance for a rosette? Rosettes will go down highly, especially with the new seal and inverted fiery rosettes. There are reasons why rosettes are popular and expensive. The random rosettes aren’t supposed to happen that often…though I do think with this, double/triple/quad rosettes will happen so much in kings. This is just a question, how much leopard tails can you consume? I personally think that one is enough. Gnawrocks also exist for a reason. I think I will wait for a bit longer before I choose my opinion.

Leopard tails wouldn't stack, and the success rate of one is relatively low, at around 3-5% per cub. Getting a random rosette from it is most definitely not a guarantee, and would be an item used (in my opinion) as an extra to tack on to an expensive breeding just in case you get lucky. Gnawrocks are not specifically for rosettes, just for markings in general. Leopard tails are different because you can get a rosette in any slot, and not be able to choose that or the type of rosette it is. Its the element of randomness and surprise that makes the item so exciting! You are not guaranteed in any way to get a new rosette, but it does up your chances just a tad. The only way the market would crash because of this item, is if the chances were boosted. Way back when I started playing, double rosettes were like 40gb each, which is way lower now. The market changes whether you like it or not, gnawrocks already play a huge part in the rosette market, a leopard tail would be a small add-on. We have so many mutie boosting items for all the mutie breeders out there, why not give some love to the rosette breeders? Since rosettes are such a big part of lioden and an entire marking group, I think its only fair.

Also, double/triple/quad kings are already a MASSIVE part of the stud market. Try looking with the search function! There are tens of thousands, people gravitate towards them, I dont think a tiny breeding item is going to crash the economy. Think about CRB for a second, it gives you a heightened chance at mutations, and gives you a boost for lethals, but you dont see the lethal market falling into the deep end, do you?

3-5% is still pretty high, tho I do have another question, can you have a leopard tail and a gnawrock? Because doubles will go down if you can use them on the same lion. Not to mention that gnawrocks are one per parent.

And you have a point with how much mutie boosts we have. Tho I’m sure that we WILL have more in the future, I’m sure rosettes will at one point go down. Mass breeding will end up with one or two.

I’ve seen some peoples mass breeding logs, and nearly all of them resulted in a random rosette. And the lethal market is supposed to stay up. Lethals are rare. First gens are rare! Rosettes aren’t as rare, but everyone goes after them because they are rare and popular.

And I am sure that rosettes are sought after because they are rare? Idk if I’m wrong or not. And 3-5% per cub? Maybe it should be per litter, like a crunchy? Or a lower percent, like 2-3% for all cubs? Just a suggestion.

Sure 2% per cub is fine with me! If you mass breed hundreds of cubs you are bound to get a random rosette, but not often does it end up landing on a cub you actually want, which is why with the leopard tail it makes it a little easier to get the rosette on a potential cub with traits you like. Imo I'd imagine leopard tail and gnawrock would work together, kinda like crb + gmo cow or lion meat!
I never said anything about how the lethal market is supposed to crash. Im just pointing out how the prices have changed based on what I saw back in 2019-2020 based on how it is now in 2022. Lethals are still going to be a high price, but because of how many more people are breeding nowadays, the prices have dropped a bit, especially for more unfavored ones like Harlequin and cyclopia. I'm just showing that a tiny item like this is not going to destroy the market in comparing it to a crb/other mutation boosting item, yes you have higher chances, but that doesnt mean it'll be a guarantee, nor is it an overpowered item with the requirements set in place.
Double rosettes already go down during rosette breeding months because you are guaranteed them with 2 gnaw rocks, I dont see how the leopard tail would make it drop much further. The leopard tail would only give you a tiny chance at an extra rosette, it is no where NEAR close to something that will suddenly ruin lioden forever, take a gmo cow for example, those odds are way way higher now when breeding a mutie, but you dont see bobbed tails and amps going for 300sb each do you?

So this is what you’re saying (correct me if I’m wrong) you use a 2 gnawrocks, per parent, you use a Buffy and lets say you get lucky and get a triple rosette. Is it also possible to use a CRB/GMO cow/lion meat onto the lioness? Because then you get mutie rosettes way easier.

I mean, mutie rosettes are usually dirty because they are related to pons. I personally like the idea, tho I do feel like rosettes on hybrids will just happen so much now. It isn’t a bad thing, but I think it isn’t a great thing either. I’m not a serious clean breeder right now, because literally all my lions are dirty, but clean rosette muties would be great.

I think this could be cool! Something like a lion meat, just to tack on an expensive breeding you'll be using a buffy on anyway, etc.

ETA: could help us get rosettes in new/rare slots too!
