Aside from monthly event news posts and the 2nd Friday of each month being focused on art/coding updates, all other Fridays are centered around the community!

Official Lioden Raffle

Anniversary Contest Reminder

As a reminder, we are hosting 12 themed design contests! Submissions closed on 11:59pm Lioden time on August 31st. The voting period began at 00:00am on September 1st and will last until September 9th! Further details and prizes are found below.

Details
* There are 12 contests in total—one for each monthly event on Lioden.
* Entries are themed around specific events (e.g. only submit January-themed arrangements for the January contest, etc.).
* Everyone can vote for whichever entries they like best! Each player can vote 5 times per contest, 1 vote per entry (so you cannot put all 5 votes into one entry), and you will get a bonus 5 SB per vote for participating.
* Votes cannot be incentivised. Do not ask for other players to vote for your entries, your friends' entries, etc. anywhere on Lioden. This includes in the chat room, on the forums, or in various other areas of the site. Incentivising votes can lead to actions being taken against accounts—we really want this to be fair and for players to genuinely vote for whichever entries they like best!
* If your design is chosen, it will be added to a pool of randomised images that will be shown on Lioden's front page when that specific event is occurring on Lioden!

Prizes
There will be 120 winners in total—10 winners per monthly event, and each winner will get a prize of 10 GB!

Goodie Bag Adjustment

Over the past few months, we have noticed an increase in issues related to Goodie Bags and the Giving Tree. We have had more problems with players impersonating others via the Goodie Bag mechanic in the last month than we have had in the past few years alone, which greatly concerns us—not to mention general negativity regarding the contents of these Goodie Bags that players pick up.

Unfortunately, due to the increase in issues, we have disabled Goodie Bags from being discarded/thrown out to the Giving Tree. Goodie Bags can now only be directly transferred to other players and donated to clan hoards.

We understand this change is displeasing to some. As an alternative to Goodie Bag drops in the Giving Tree, there is always the option to host Goodie Bag giveaways in Giveaways Chat, on the forums, or through your own clans.

As a reminder, Goodie Bags cannot be profited off of, sold, or traded under any circumstances. It is permitted to use them as a convenient way to store commission/service payment in the form of items and then transfer this Goodie Bag to someone to fulfil that payment, but it is not allowed to create Goodie Bags with items and sell them to other players. We have noticed a resurgence in Goodie Bag sale topics and raffles and hope that this reminder will lower the amount of attempted sales moving forward. This change was enacted on April 9th 2019 (https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429356312) and is still a rule we enforce. To make sure this is not an unknown rule for players who have joined after this change, this rule has been added to the Stockpile Rules forum topic for easy review.

Art Bug Fixes

* Fixed Debris markings not displaying on Teen Male Bobbed Tail and Mane Succubus stages
* Fixed Inverted Soft Rosette markings appearing as Inverted Rosette on Cub Dwarfism stage
* Fixed Mesh markings appearing outside of the lineart for Cub, Teen Female, and Teen Male variants of Bobbed Tail and Tailless
* Fixed Noctis Grunge appearing as Noctis Scraped Grunge on Adult Male Default and Adult Male Tailless stages
* Fixed Soft Rosette markings appearing outside of the lineart for Adult Male Dwarfism stage

Coding Bug Fix

* Anyone who had been encountering omens in explore and horses on den pages should not see them any further until the Harbinger's storyline actually begins at 2:10am Lioden time on September 3rd.
