While I like the idea, I doubt it will be easy to implement, and there are still many people with different preferences. Such as male looks female pronouns and female looks male pronouns. So no support.

That's why I offered an alternative solution of it being optional when you use the frog :) maybe they'd add a little "lion's pronouns" box and you could change it to whether you'd like it to be male or female pronouns

also I don't think it'd be that difficult to change honestly, all you'd have to do is change the code a bit to check for pronoun settings if a lab frog was used :)

As someone with programming experience, I doubt it’ll be too difficult. Especially when the game has extremely complicated features already, I think the devs have the abilities to implement something like this lol

Another point, even if people are uncomfortable with being able to change pronouns, there’s a reason it was brought up as an option instead of being forced. So that everyone can be happy with the way they play the game. It really shouldn’t be a problem for a lot of people, considering the lab test frog literally changes the gender your lion appears as.

I’d be ecstatic to have this in the game. Makes it easier for the little bit of lore I have.

Honestly I think it'd be cool to have pronoun boxes for all lions, whether or not they have a lab frog! It wouldn't change anything gameplay-wise and would be more of a cosmetic decision. Pronouns don't have to be tied to gender after all. I'd imagine it would take a while for it to be fully implemented though.

Edit: I can already imagine people arguing that it would be unrealistic but we literally have pink and blue lions in-game, so...

I think being able to choose your lion's pronouns either way is a great feature! The default/forced pronouns being removed would take the stress off for a lot of people who want to enjoy their own lions in their own way.

I'd prefer having the option to change our lead's pronouns rather than an automatic change from using a lab test frog- costs less and is more inclusive. I headcanon my king as being more masc/enby despite him being lab frogged, and would really not want them to be automatically referred to by feminine pronouns just because of how he looks.

Also, a lot of players use Lab Test Frogs because the current male artwork is...limiting, to put it lightly. So they get around it by equipping a Frog and a Pose, with a nice mane ^_^

While there is a lot of text in-game, it's not impossible to change some of it to be more gender-neutral. It's as simple as a ctrl+f with the target keywords. It is tedious, however, coming from someone whose job is to go over text files >_>

And since the changes would be entirely cosmetic, there's no worry if some words aren't changed since who gives a shit about typos anyways hahaha *through gritted teeth*

I like the idea of making it an optional choice. What would be even better, as others are saying, was if there was a pronoun box, and you could select pronouns even if you haven't used a lab test frog.
