"I am here to rescue you!" Warrior whispered to Cliff and addressed her to follow him with a flick of his tail

Bandit took a deep breath "If you want to know then listen, your family was just like my family, we both used to help each other in times of need. After your family was killed by lions and I thought you got killed too, I decided that I my only mission is to avenge your death. A few weeks later, my family got killed by spotted hyenas and from that day I got to know that nobody is nice, not even your own kind. And if you're thinking that why I am working with hyenas, it's because of you, you're the only one that I have now and.... can you promise me that you'll never leave me?" He asked Feyrin.

They ran for their life. Loud thundering paws of a beast had nearly caught up to them. Only a desperate plan of escape could save them. But they were less than a year old. Small drips of tears rolled down the hyenas cheek. With tired legs and a scratchy throat, Rain collapsed into the dust and dried grass of the Savannah. It was over. Nothing to do. The beast had caught up by now and was looming over the pup. They let out a small pathetic cry. Lions were cruel.
"Do it already! Finish pain you started!" Rain yelped in hyena. The lion laughed at them, then said something in lion. He roared a booming roar and bolted away. Rain puffed, exhausted and in pain. Several scratches were bleeding. They noticed a river a few metres away. Just a little bit away. Then you can rest forever. Rain thought gleefully. They struggled towards the river and collapsed again. Their vision went blurry. A dark cloud flew into their eyes as dreams of their losts unfolded.
(The river near the pride so you guys can interact with them!)

Feyrin nodded.
“Of course,” she said with a smile. ”I’ll stay with you. But in order for us to do that, we need to get rid of the threats, and find allies. And I know a few lions who can help us. So, Kipuna, is your pack ready? Is everyone here and healthy?”

Kipuna frowned.
”Actually… we’re missing a dear young one. Their name is Rain… they were just a little pup, but somehow they’ve gone missing. I… I hope they’re alright.” She looked worried, and Feyrin noted again how much she cared for her kin.

Bumping noses gently with Kipuna, Feyrin smiled.
”We’ll find them too. It’ll be okay. I’m sure they’re okay.”
The little striped hyena stood tall and lifted her chin. ”So… we go now?”

“Yes,” Kipuna nodded regally. ”Let’s go.” She let out a loud howl-like call, making sure everyone was gathered, before nodding at Feyrin.
”Lead the way, Feyrin.”

(( Oh btw, we use italics to mean hyena language! ^^ ))

They seemed to be awake. But not by the river, but back at their home. Brown fur snuggled into their side. Mother. Very little sunlight filtered through the den roof. Distorted voices rang through Rain's ears. A booming roar echoed through the cave, and yet everyone seemed fine. New fur touched their side as they yelped in horror. The very lion from earlier stood upon Rain. Bolting away as fast as they could, Rain didn't notice the large rift through the earth. The lion was still pursuing them. Darkness flooded their vision once more. This time no dreams took place. Only pure silence.
(Not quite dead just unconscious and injured badly) (sorry these aren't my best peices of writing!)

Ace heard a pitiful cry outside, and after a quick glance around, decided to investigate. She found a hyena lying half-dead by the river.
“Oh, you poor thing!” She cried, trying to pull the hyena language Feyrin had taught her out of her mind. She quickly pulled the hyena back to the cave, hesitating for a moment at the entrance, but deciding to go in. The others could complain, but surely they wouldn’t attack an injured creature unprovoked. She tried to remember the word for friend, racking her brain and sounding it out.
”Frond? No, that’s wrong. ”Feind? Froind? Friend, friend!” She clapped excitedly. “That’s it! Friend!”

“Oh!” Ace said as the hyena yelped a little, then flopped over again. “Please wake up. Don’t die, little thing!”
She nudged the wet hyena with her nose and felt it shivering. She lay down beside it, trying her best to dry its fur with hers.

Consciousness was faiding in and out. Strange sounding hyena words in one world. Silence in the other. Like two paths. They tried to open their eyes. After opening them slightly they shut them quickly. Lion. Rain yelped in fear and agony as they got dragged towards a cave opening. Probably it's den. Probably death. Summoning every ounce of energy they had, Rain woke up fully and squirmed around until they broke free. Only making it a few steps before falling again. They were doomed. Again.

Ace shrugged. “I don’t know, I just found them outside, half-dead! I’ll probably have to let it go,” she said, only a little regretfully. “I only had to keep Feyrin because she had no family to go back to. I don’t know about this one. Let’s hope it has family.”
