I know this is an old post, but I'm going to respond to it anyways because it might be helpful for people this year.
I compiled a full list of creatures that only appear during the night. I'm not sure if any of them are exceptions to the 'night creature' rule thought, so let me know if some of them don't count;

- Nightmare Lion
- Lich Lion
- Undead wildebeest
- Horrendous demon (From the deepest night, a flame bursts from the ground, materializing this horrendous demon. It seems like it wants to enslave you as a pet!)
- Nightmare Spider
- Decaying Hyena
- Mummy Lion
- Wraith Lion
- Zombie Cheetah
- Wraith Lion
- Zombie Lion
- Zombie Poacher
- Fiend
- Your shadow (Your own shadow suddenly shoots out in front of you, bursting into a blazing fiend!)

Werehyenas and werelions don't seem to count though.

SaruCharmed, werehyenas and werelions are a Heaven specific enemies, not night creatures. They can be met during the day. Night creatures are regular Halloween enemies that can only be found at night.
