Maybe if you have to pay for the stud fee, you get all the kittens (just like in LD with your king).

If no stud fee, then its a split litter or of the owner doesn't want, then you get the whole litter

I feel leaving it up to each owner would be a bit better, because I know I’d be put off offering my kitties as studs/to breed with other players if I had one open for studding (gave my permission in advance for anyone to use them) and received none of their kittens, especially if the one who bred the kittens then put one I really liked into the “shelter” area

Though maybe there can be baseline rules: example “the one who paid takes the first kitten pick, the one who studded their kitty out gets second. Back and forth until each kitten is dispersed”

And perhaps a minimum of 2 kittens when two players breed

or if you don't want the kitten, maybe there is a rule to give the kitten to the cat stud owner instead of the adopt shop.

Either way, maybe the owner of the cats can decide to give them a bit of free will, right? Seems to be the better idea.

When my breedable adopts were more active i had a stud page for them to find a stud they were looking for. They informed me of who they wanted to stud to and i made sure both parties agreed it was alright. However i left the sorting out of who gets who up to them. Since we should all be at least 16 if not adults.. they should be able to civilly handle that? Studs can always have their own rules so its clear what they want/need out of the exchange. Same with the person seeking out a stud. I never had problems and it’s easier for them to figure it out together ^^ but if issues arise they could always lean on you a bit for advice? Or to help sort it out.

Added shared litter rules and edited the prices for kitties donated!

If they are basic kitties they are still 4gbs, regular kitties with rarer genes 6gb and mutated kitties are 10gb

Also working on adding artist credits and kitty descriptions to the master list, which is making me realize some past kitties have incorrect appearances.

All kitties can still be edited, if you look on the masterlist and your kitty has a red description it means I goofed and made em wrong. This can be fixed one of two ways

1. Recolor the kitty to reflect the genes more accurately
2. Change the genes to fit the appearance of the kitty

both options are free obviously just lmk which way you want your kitties fixed

Midnight charcoal comes from the agouti gene which affects the light spaces in between stripes. Midnight charcoals have more melanin than regular tabbys (A/A) so they are much darker.

yeah, so overall it appears much darker. I just realised my kitty has that gene so instead of midnight, lets to twilight instead (Apb-Apb)

Yes, red descriptions mean the kitty was drawn wrong, and yes you can choose to keep both versions of the design but only one will appear on the masterlist
