In the chat below, if I accidently post something in the giveaway chat I can't delete the message and get a warning or message from mods or whatever. Why is this?  0 players like this post! Like? |

i dont exactly know the reason why, but that's how it is in all chats. sadly you cant delete messages, though i'd love to myself sometimes! some of the reason might be that deleted messages won't be stored for mods to see, so it'd be easy to send an inflammatory message, get a bunch of folks rightfully upset, then delete it before mods can step in. no message, no proof unless there's a screenshot which sometimes there won't be and which can be faked, etc. 0 players like this post! yes, that's what I do as well, apologize if I can and flag my own post. mods will have mercy on you! it's annoying accidentally posting a sales ad in roleplay chat, etc., but i understand why we can't delete messages, makes moderation a little smoother. 0 players like this post! Like? |
