As Frostfox was looking through the herbs she heard Corianderthorn speak. "Oh your awake, Well we are running a little low on yarrow, do you want to look for some?" She asked trying not to worry about their herbs, "Oh, also i brought back a few stalks of catmint"

Flamingkit sighed and picked up the mossball, pausing for a moment before throwing it towards the other kit, eyes following the curve of the ball as it flew through the air.

Reef’Watcher | Queen

She walked beside Marble’Fur, not bothering to reply as a comfortable silence fell between them. She looked around, inspecting some trees from afar for any moss as they continued through the forest
[ "Are you sure Shattered’Kit is gonna be okay with Moss’Pelt?" ] Reef side-eyed the other queen, her brows arched upwards with worry
She didn't exactly fully trust Moss’Pelt, it was probably for no reason but she just had a bad feeling about the she-cat

"Sure.. I'll go after I get something to eat." Corianderthorn replied, then left the den and headed towards the fresh-kill pile.
The she-cat walked back in moments after leaving, carrying a small vole in her mouth. "Frostfox.. have you ever thought about taking on an apprentice? It'd be nice to have some extra company in here." She said, through bites of the critter she had brought in.

"ok, ill be here" Frostfox replied , muffled through the herbs. Corianderthorn walked back in carrying a vole, then asked a question, Frostfox was startled at the sudden question, but replied anyway, "sometimes, we could use a young medicine cat, and it starts to get lonely, dont you think? But why the sudden question?"

-P.O.V. Shade’Feather-
-Location: OakClan Camp-

Shade’Feather yawned again and stood up, stretching. He stepped away from the camp border his gray pelt emerging from the shadow. He turned and glanced up at the sun, squinting his eyes. He turned back to the prey pile, and the overwhelming feeling that it was way too low, even though it wasn’t, caused him to make up his mind and leave for a hunt. He glanced at Crane’Star, hoping she wouldn’t mind his leaving, but also hoping he could maybe just sneak past her and bring back plenty of prey to apologize leaving by himself. He walked toward the camp entrance, strangely silent for his size, his tail-tip flicked back and forth.

★ Crane’Star | Leader

The leader caught movement in the corner of her eye and quickly snapped her head around to face it, relaxing a little when she realized it was only Shade’Feather
Despite this, she still tensed up a little and narrowed her eyes at him. Maybe he was just going out.. for a walk.. her ears pinned back as she tried to comfort herself. Shaking her head, she looked away as her fur prickled and stood on edge

As Frostfox watched Corianderthorn pad out the den, she sighed, she knew there was more to it than that. But as she padded out too, she couldn't help wonder what apprentice would be best for a medicine cat, she almost tripped over Flamingkit and Shatteredkit, too lost in thought.

Flamingkit blinked in surprise and stepped back, eyes lowered slightly, as if she were worried about getting in trouble. "Sorry-" she muttered.

Shatteredkit jumped up on her hind legs and batted the moss ball before falling flat on her face, "oh, hi FrostFox!" She meowed, "what are you doing?) She bounced around happily " I'm playing moss ball with Flamingkit! "

-P.O.V. Shade’Feather-
-Location: OakClan Camp-

As Shade’Feather slid out of camp, he tensed and his pelt prickled. Someone was watching him. He glanced back briefly at Crane’Star before disappearing out into the forest. He immediately relaxed as his paws set on the path he always followed out for hunting. His ears twitched backwards for a second, but he pulled them back forward to focus on the hunt. The faster he could find prey and catch it the more he could gather to bring back. He tipped his head up and took in a deep breath through his mouth scenting the various things in the forest. He caught the scent of where Reef’Watcher and Marble’Fur went and he turned away from their path. He found a squirrel scent no too far away, and he slowed down, crouching lower and focusing his gaze. His pelt blended in nicely under the shadows and he moved very slowly toward his prey. He soon spotted the bushy tail of the squirrel and he went still, only moving extremely slow as to not scare the squirrel off. Once he was within range he stopped and stared at the squirrel. It hadn’t noticed him yet, but it stopping munching on its food for a second and stood up on its hind legs to look around. Shade’Feather went still and as soon as the squirrel focused back on its food he pounced. In one swift leap he pinned the prey under his forepaw, stopping it’s warning call before it could make it and he killed it with a swift bite. He looked down at the prey in a moment of silence then took it to the roots of the nearest tree and buried it under some stray leaves. He then continued on his way.

Yeah! Speaking of being an apprentice, is there anything I can help you with? She squeaked "I need to be ready to do hard work, I should get working now!!" She ran into a bush and took out some moss, "need me to fix the elders den, or get food for them?" She ran over to the fresh kill pile and pulled out a mouse.
