If you think you won't be completely happy with a Savage or Pariah mane I think you should still go for the Royal! On my own breeding project I was going to go for any BO mane, but I really want Tsavo so I'm in the process of purging most of my project lions without Tsavo mane. Ultimately I don't think I will be picky if the game gives me all the traits I want with a different BO mane though :p

I'm really into the female poses, and manes aren't something I'm bothered with but … since I'm making a bigger effort than I ever have on Lioden to breed something nice for myself, I thought I might as well.

Plus the royal has a chance of mane mutation offspring but I do still wonder if I'm going to be thoroughly hacked off going for a royal mane - it not pass when everything else has I'm having a frustrating time with it already and I haven't even started base breeding yet!

I think these mane decisions were easier pre-2018 ;)

Maybe x) Offspring is always a really good thing to keep in mind of course - I want Tsavo because it fails to Crested which is good for the May event challenge ^^ Got any specific eye colors or mane colors you're shooting for?

I might have a side thing going with pariah, to see how well it passes and maybe switch over, I'm getting the willies over this!

Hell yes BO eyes and skin, I just didn't want to bore folk with it, the breeding project is here if you're interested.

I really like apricot eyes, and well … I guess peachy skin which fine. I wish the skins were a little more distinct to make them worth BO but eh, I guess I'm greedy ^-^

I love seeing other people's projects, they don't bore me at all!! I might be weird though :v For my project I don't have anything set in stone outside of the base being Bandit and the BO eyes and mane, because my stupid tastes keep changing Hopefully it doesn't end up like your last project where you got bored of it afterwards - but combos do kind of tend to be like that haha, reasons why I stick to regular BO bases!

Haha, happy to show it off then ;) Yeah, I really did like my Qahir at the time too, and I was so definite I wasn't going to change him, that I could just relax on Lioden after he was done. Bwuahaha.

At least with the BO basics, mane, eye, skin, base, you can at least play around with rma's if you're feeling fruity

That's ultimately my plan at the end of the day, throw away my life savings on rmas once I get the stupid base - mane - eye - MR/MS stuff out of the way. I love rmas so much but I can't justify spending more than 200 or so GB on each of my incomplete project queen/kings lol, or I'll get too attached to one marking and want it on the next iteration. The basics are hard enough!!

I've already got the struggle with Briar Rosette atm, I love it so much but I can't gnaw that AND her mottled stripes in a breeding ;o;
