I offer no support. Although it would be a life saver if you placed a marking in the wrong slot, or you have a cub born and whatever marking would look better at slot 10 instead of the slot 4 it was born with, I feel this item would make rare marking slots easier to obtain. If you have a lion with a marking in a very common slot it would be really easy to move it to the rare slot. Some markings are specifically released for the purpose of being in rare slots. An example would be Raffle Lioness markings. Even if it was just swapping one marking for another marking.
An item like that would mean you have to put little to no planning into when you RMA your lion, or use Piety to apply a event NCL marking, or even in breeding. I feel it would also make a lot of breeding projects useless as well. A lot try to breed for a lion with XYZ in Slots ABC and this item would mean they just need to breed XYZ and not worry about ABC. Easier breeding can take the fun out of it real fast. Plus it will take away the challenge that some people chase when starting a project. Sure you can argue that those people could just not use the item but it would still give them the option. You could also argue that some markings would be exempt from that item but I still feel like it would not be worth adding into the game. Some markings are locked to certain slots, like Hybrid markings. If Raffle Lioness markings, Hybrid markings and Rosettes were not able to be used with this item than that would leave app, custom and common markings. At that point you could just remove the marking and replace it for what might be cheaper.

So even if it is a neat idea and would make things easier, I do not support because it would disturb a lot of things.
