Cubs lives will not be endangered and will not hunt until their young adolescence.

must not leave the Heartlands until pregnancy is taken to completion."
In the past, under the late King Denovin's reign, a pregnant lioness becoming injured wasn't as uncommon and due to this, future litters were lost. After Asmundsen noticed the repetition of such events, he completely disallowed hunting during such life event.

"A lioness in heat shall not leave the Heartlands."
To avoid the unwanted visitor, only until the heat is over or taken care of, may the lioness go beyond the Heartlands once more.

"All sons will be trained as if they were running for the crown."
Giving a chance to the Lowland lion blood is more than important, sons will be encouraged to make a pride of their own, but must leave the Heartlands as soon as young adulthood arrives.

"All daughters are to stay within the pride until they decide to leave or become a hunter."
A daughter is an important asset to any pride, their freedom will not be removed and will be honored with the role of a hunter that will teach generations to come.

"A Queen will always be singular, only she, who carries the rank, has word over any lioness."
It is a Queen's duty to look after the female lineage, the safety of the daughters and wellbeing of the hunters will fall upon her paws.

"It will be the King's duty to look after his wives."
A lioness within the harem will eat whatever the King hunts.
In times of sickness, the King must ensure the lioness makes a full recovery.

"A lion's death will be honored."
In the time of an accidental death, it will be shamed upon the King and only he will be to blame.
If the lion dies of old age, the King must stay by their side until it is for certain that they are dead.

"The loyalty of the living body will remain after death, their burial will be honored as they will protect us for seasons to come."
The burial of the lioness will be dignified with bravery, their body will remain underground within The Edge, as they will encourage future lionesses on their hunt.
The burial of a daughter will be dignified with knowledge, their body will remain underground within The Innerland, as they will encourage aspiring hunters.
The burial of a son will be dignified with strength, their body will remain underground within The Lowlands, they will aid the late King Denovin and protect the pride of intruders.
The burial of a cub will be dignified with innocence, their body will remain underground within The Heartlands, they will keep company to those who open their eyes for the first time.
The burial of a traitor will be looked down upon, their body will remain above land in the The Outmost for the hyenas and vultures to feed upon.
