In April, there is the Primordial Spring which allows you to increase or decrease your current king's age by 2 years. It unlocks at the final tier, usually around the middle-3/4 part of the month. I'm a bit lazy to do the math so it might actually end up being too late, but you can possibly use it to retire your current king while the pie is still alive.

Males that are 10+ age back to 8 years old, not 7. And males between 3 and 9y11mo remain the same age when kinged.

(Alternatively, since he's inbred and kind of.. plain, you can instead try and get a different younger mutie for your next king ^^;)

this can help but idk if this is what you're looking for. when you can get gbs to retire your current king u could freeze you other king on an alt ! or if u king the pie at 14-15 im pretty sure they de age back to 7!
