fun fact kuwa would need it to be her power to open a portal to the shadow realm since it's an entirely different realm and if she did try to open the portal while she didn't have it she would probably die and the shadow beast would turn on her as well since she isn't supposed to be there.

Nothing technically counts as part of the shadow realm but he isn't a shadow beast, tbh I don't really know what he is and neither does he since he's been cursed for 17 years now and can't remember what he used to be. Also he cannot die since *curses* and stuff, but he can be injured and if injured fatally he won't die but still be wounded and in pain, but he cannot be hurt by mortals and/or other beings other than the one who cursed him
