leveling up, filling impression bar up if youve reached dreamboat, baoball, and stat items all give your lion stats. the best way honestly without getting a lion that inherited its stats is to stock up on exp items like broken drones and giant tortoise, use them all and then level up.

You can't really, you only gain stats double your level.
I.e Level 2 means +4, Level 3 means +6

However those are randomly placed.
You can also feed your king honeycombs (usually cost 2GB each though!), play Baoball and level up.
The best thing to do is to get yourself a young high stat male and patrol it ready for when your king does die.
