"Oh-she has, Weasel`Hunter was very mad she took our prey without permission, said some nasty stuff but I probably would've been mad too" he went back to sorting herbs, "Next time you come can you give me some prey? I don't like going out when I don't have to"

"No problem!" he called out, but his paws slipped and he almost fell over, Fox'Flower got up, cursing under his breath, "Why do you gotta be so nervous, Fox`Flower? She was just asking for help, you stupid fox`Flower" he continued to sort herbs

Dawn ran up to dapple. “I have to talk to you later.” She said then went out with her sister to try to set up borders and talk about who to pick as deputy.

The two cats went along, talking and marking where they thought borders would be. Light’tail would take more warriors out later to show them. After a while they took a break. “So I was thinking, maybe weasel’hubter as deputy. He’s a great hunter, smart, and a good fighter. Most cats get along with him.” Dawn started. Light listened. “Well, we have a few others as well. Such as mossstrike or honeypetal.”

⁰Moss'Strike noticed a calico she-cat with long fur laying on a large stone, sunbathing. The cat had a strange invention at the place where her fourth leg should have been. She approached the female calico, sat on the warm stone and then said,⁰ "You must be Dapple, right?" ⁰She asked, recalling the name that the Fox'Flower said.⁰

“Hey, you know the dapple cat stole some prey without permission the other day.” Light said. “Oh really? I didn’t know that. But I’m sure honey and Weasel talked to her, and probably mossstrike too.” Dawn said. They began to walk back, slowly, still talking.

Dapple'Lark lifted her head, seeing a short, dark-pelted she-cat before sitting up. "Oh yeah, my name is Dapple'Lark. May I help you with something?" She asked with a curious tone.

"Well, I'm Moss'Strike, and my friend Honey'Petal told me that you took prey without permission. Is that true?" Moss'Strike asked the cat, assuming she was new to the clan because she still carried the scent of two-leg.

"I did take prey; however, I took the smallest piece I could find because I knew you had to work for food in the forest. I didn't know I was supposed to ask for permission before I could eat." She responded, hoping she didn't get into another argument.

"I understand; I assumed you would say that. Honey'Petal can be a little exaggerated at times," she said, her voice calm. "Now that you are in the calm, though, you don't need permission, but only take what you will eat," Moss'Strike meowed before getting up and walking away.

°Moss'Strike approached the fresh-kill pile, slowly moving around the small carcasses, eventually picking up a plump finch and a mouse. She turned around and headed for the medicine den, the two pieces of prey hanging from her jaw. She meowed a silent greeting before walking inside the den.° "Hey Fox'Flower, are you hungry?" °she asked, sitting down on the dry ground.°

Fox`Flower was staring at the wall, not reacting until a few seconds later, "Hm? Oh, yeah." he walked over, taking the mouse, "Wow-can't believe you remembered, thank you" he mewed. He narrowed his eyes to the finch but said nothing, sliding into a lay and hungrily eating

The two walked back into camp. They had caught a little bit of prey in the way, and shared a bird. They had caught 4 other things that they put on the pile
