Hi! I've been trying to get den boxes and I'm completely worthless at coding so I was super exited when I found this!
I tried your static box code and followed the instructions pretty well (I think) but it still won't work..
My den css is from a different creator so would that have something to do with it?

no it shouldn't make a difference. as long as you're making sure to add the css link for the box codes after the css link for the layout you've got then the html code should be fully functional for ya the order will go like this:

[your full layout css link][box layout css link]
[box html code]

does that make sense?

Would the box layout css link go right after my den layout css with no 'enter' in between? Just back to back?
and the html code is below that "one enter key" ?

oh no your explanation is perfect yeah when I use multiple css links I prefer to have them back to back like that so it won't insert a bunch of extra space at the top of your den and then you can either have the box code also start on the same line too or with the one enter key press yes either way looks good personally I keep it all on the same line but I know that can make it a lil confusing to look at if you're not used to looking through code like that

oh I use dropbox for all the images I use that aren't LD assets it's not terribly convenient since there are extra steps involved but I like that I know for a fact the image links won't expire

ah with dropbox you have to edit the image link a bit like when you click the button to copy the link it'll give you something like this:

https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ufmme0ki12mkj79xkaewv/red-spider-lily.jpg?rlkey=hncs5d4usqt0xqkzfvscwguft&st=vv8abctc&dl=0

but it won't actually work when you try to use it as is bc you have to replace the www to dl (don't ask me why idk why dropbox is like that lmao) so it'll look like this instead:

https://dl.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ufmme0ki12mkj79xkaewv/red-spider-lily.jpg?rlkey=hncs5d4usqt0xqkzfvscwguft&st=vv8abctc&dl=0

and the dl link will work if you've grabbed the right link to begin with for me I always click the little copy link button in my dropbox files list on the same line as the pic I'm wanting to use (like when you click into a folder it lists the files in it that's the area I mean as opposed to clicking into the exact image) bc that link always works and idk what the deal with imgur is bc I hate that site it dumps your images after a while and you have to repost them which I do not like lol
