Lions can't be sold or transferred while they have roles assigned. All your females are assigned as either hunters or broodmothers, so you'd need to remove the roles from the ones you want to trade before they appear on the list in TC :)

Yes, un-securing doesn't affect their ability to be traded - they can still be sold regardless of whether they're secured or not.

You'd just need to select the 'none' box beside role. Plus in the case of lions that have previously been set as hunters, you'd also need to make sure they're not in a hunting party, and not still out on an active hunt that hasn't been completed yet.
