Currently the clan is split up. Based on recent posts, here's whats happening:
Some cats are on a patrol beyond the territory in search of new land (at Birchstar's demand) and they're about to encounter something.
Meanwhile at the camp, the cats that stayed behind are generally worried about whether the patrol will return unscathed or not.
The medicine cats are together in the med cat den. Riverlight and Ambertail just left the camp to do training and met Sunwhisker on the way. I think Lilypaw is in the camp and open for interaction.

They've just encountered cats right at the border, Sobbingnettle seems to have history with them, Tensions are high and there might be a battle depending on whether our patrol engages or not.

Ah that! So Birchstar, our cruel leader, demanded that a patrol go out to claim more territory "to expand her kingdom". Whether they do this by chasing off other cats or by traveling so far they find new land, was up to them. Sobbingnettle reluctantly agreed, not wanting more bloodshed which Birchstar threatened (she was going to straight up start invading).
It's been established that the clan has already been going on an unhealthy amount of patrols to find new land for Birchstar, usually resulting in injuries or even death. So this current patrol is really pushing it and thats why cats at the camp are worried about them.
