It requires a male groupie from the May event. Most groupies are adult females similar to NCLs (that have a rare chance of having a breed only feature like base, eyes, marking, etc, or even be mutated) but some of them are adolescent males instead. You would retire your old king and replace them with the groupie, BUT instead of using the heir appearance, you would keep the current looks of the king whose appearance you want your male to have.

In order to have a mutated G1 king, you would have to use either a Mutie On Demand applicator (piebald or primal) or have a groupie that shows up with a mutation like overgrown tongue or melanism or something like that. Though the groupies that already have a mutation only can have non passable mutations.
