While there are a few mushroom custom decors, there is only one official mushroom decor- the mossy branch mushroom colony. Personally, I love mushrooms. They’re gorgeous and they really add to mossy, Foresty scenes, which incidentally are my favourite to create with decors. So I think we need more mushroom decors! Here are some ideas:

Mushroom colonies by the the paws of lions: some species could include ink caps, parrot mushrooms, amanitas, coral mushrooms, indigo/ saffron milk caps.

Mushrooms on trees: mossy tree trunks covered in layers of fungi and fungal shelves. Species that would be pretty like this: hen of the woods, turkey tail mushrooms, lions mane mushrooms, various other bracket/poly pore/ shelf mushrooms. It would not necessarily have to be shelf mushrooms- small stalked ones growing out of trees could be beautiful too. I would love to see bioluminescent shelf fungi on logs or trees though, that would appear normal in the day time but glow at lioden night. These could also work around the paws.

More mushroom logs: similar to the mossy branch mushroom colony, but with various species (ones mentioned above and particularly bioluminescent species) and various positions.

Mushroom rocks: exactly what it sounds like, rocks with mushrooms growing out of the gaps and cracks, maybe some moss to compliment them, various species would be good for this, probably smaller, rounder stalked ones. Puffballs, porcelain mushrooms, king Alfred’s cake mushrooms, pink dome caps and orange mycena would all look good on these. These species would also look good on logs.

Where would these decors be gotten?
Gorilla enclave, monkey business, reptile roundup levels or flood pit all seem to be fitting places!
