Hiya. I was looking through the old raffle lionesses on Wiki and one caught my eye. Searched for any clones of the July 5th 2019 one but there aren't any. The raffle lioness is still 2 years 2 months old. The player seems to have gone on a long hiatus. Apocalyptica already has the base and eyes. I'm thinking about recreating the lioness with my queen. RMAs definitely are NOT the way to go to get a specific marking. I've spent over 3000gb on RMAs and haven't seen a lick of my favorite RMA exclusive, let alone any breed-only markings. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@leon 🔮 (#208511) I haven't searched all of them yet but some of the slots are rare. Breeding a look alike of this particular raffle lioness will be difficult. I think it's worth a try with RMAs. Who knows, luck might be on Apocalyptica's side. You never know until you try. ^_^ @Morrígra 🌙(Cinder) (#33027) I've thought about that. I finished my search. I've done two RMA projects... You can try but it's absolutely not worth it. It will be statistically near impossible to get the right marking in the right slot, for MULTIPLE slots. It's a 0.5% chance for a tier 2 period, and then it pulls from all possible breed only markings. RMAing is absolutely soul crushing. I am on my hands and knees for you to not do this, lol. I don't want you to dump all that money into RMAs when it'll be nigh impossible. I can't get one marking I'm sort of looking for, and it's a 5% chance to roll. The 0.5% chance to pull a tier 2 marking period is gruelling. I've gone 600gb without anything at all. this is my little RMA project I have on my side I'm well aware of the chances. Half of the marks are either difficult to find lionesses to breed or impossible. At this point I'm on the fence about this because of that. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I have two full breed only ones, with some rosettes. It's very painful lol 😭 Aside from the feline 8 dark brown, I think all of the others seem perfectly fine. I'm doing a breeding project myself and started with slots with only around 20 lionesses and no king. You just need to get your hands on one. I started with lionesses each with the marking I needed. I bought more common slots that were for sale on TC and otherwise contacted players with rarer slots offering to buy any cubs with the slot. Again, I only started with one of each slot. I've been breeding on each marking, quickly at first then slowly. It sucks, but it's possible! I'm just focusing on keeping the mane and markings right now. I'll breed on the base, eyes, and skin once I get all the markings. Projects of most kinds are in fact grueling. 0 players like this post! Like? |

By the time you get to it, it might be on another raffle lioness or have been RMAd on by someone else! It might be worth checking the raffle lioness attribute request thread to see if it's been asked for again. Other people go about their projects in different ways. Some people start with every main trait—base, eyes, mane, and skin—and only king steps with those traits AND a new marking, or they do more like me, starting with a marking and mane and building up in that way. I recommend trying to keep the mane on since I hear it's hard to breed back in, but I don't think that's a concern of yours! I'm not familiar with pearl, but if you go through with this, you'll definitely want to invest in whatever apps there may be. Unfortunately for cinnabar, that is... very limited and expensive, but hopefully for Pearl it's a little more inclusive! 2 players like this post! You got a good point. I'll definitely check it out. Maybe stalk the forum and look occasionally if not. I'll probably do markings first and work my way up the difficulty. Base will probably be last for me too. Mediums are a pain to breed. The mane type is thick so for that I just need a mane changer once I get everything else locked in. I've been mass breeding for pearl for quite awhile and have yet to breed one with a Pearl mane. Is it random or do the mane genetics need to match up too? I think there's at lest 1 app that shares the same exact genetics as pearl. Maybe 2 even. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ah, I believe you need a parent to have the mane color to pass it down, unfortunately. I don't think the mane color genetics are all that complicated, just one of the parent's. One of the markings can be applied in November, so that lessens a little bit of the pain, if you're willing to wait. It's good that there are apps! Hi! I've got a RLC breeding project and I see we both need a slot 1 Brown Crackle. I currently have one Lioness with slot 1 Brown Crackle in my pride, so If I get any fail cubs from her which still have Brown Crackle marking, would you like to take them? 0 players like this post! Like? |

They rarely roll him so I was ecstatic. Project update 2 of my project girls had their first litters. Both single cubs. 1 cub was a dud and the other only had 1 desired mark so half fail. Side notes It'd be nice if lions existed with more than I desired mark on them already. This'll be a long project. I might make a separate thread so I can keep track. 0 players like this post!
