Scorching hues looked down at the body underneath him. His pupils were tiny dots, intense, awaiting for the other Beta to let go of his scruff. This had all begun because the Midnight Pack male wanted to prove a point. That him, nor his pack, were to be disrespected. They were to be taken seriously, their territory, their prey, their members, their cultures, and their ranks. The Sungods wolves didn't seem to understand that every pack had their differing culture, their differing traditions. The Midnight Pack, in the colossal wolf's eyes, were misunderstood rather than the bloodthirsty canines they were put out to be. At the end of the day, they had a home and families to protect. The difference between them and any other pack was that they were willing to do anything to keep them safe. Even if it meant killing. It was Vidar's job, as Midnight Pack's Beta, to keep their reputation. For if they had no reputation, they'd be constantly stepped on by other packs. And that was not something Vidar would stand for, it was embedded in him, no one would step on the Pack that took him in. The only Pack who saw something beyond in him. Perhaps, it had only been because of the daunting rumors said about him. However, they had still taken him in, and it was something he was eager to repay. So Vidar remained crushing the male under him. At least, until he took note that he released his scruff. Then, he decided, the Beta had suffered enough.

The large, heavy brute got up and looked down at the Sungods Beta. He had lost consciousness. Weak, pathetic. If the other Beta had been more composed of himself, perhaps, things wouldn't have ended up like this. If these childish wolves had taken accountability and repaid them for the prey they had lost, things wouldn't have ended like this. And yet, Vidar had taught them a lesson. A lesson that he hoped the Beta would never forget, or the crew that he had brought with him. His attention turned back onto the two she-wolves. The overly loud female he had attacked was on the ground, in shock. It didn't take long for her to lose consciousness as well. The sight made Vidar lick his front teeth, stained red from the blood that he had both accidentally and purposely drawn from the wolf. He had meant to hurt her, yes. However, from Ezra's surprise attack, he had ended up hurting her a lot more than he had originally meant to. A scowl made it's way across his face. It seemed that this kind of situation always followed Vidar. He was a misunderstood wolf, one with several traumas burned in the back of his mind. His actions always registered incorrectly in the eyes of other's due to the way he was raised. And yet, he couldn't blame them. For it seemed that death followed his every step. He had become a quick favorite of their's, despite not having died yet. Some part of him felt guilty. Vidar should have learned years ago of his beastly strength, of his monstrous build. The Gods had "gifted" him with the perfect warrior build but any normal action of his would never be normal. A bite would never be normal, it'd be ten times worst. A tackle would be the same.

Heavy breaths escaped him as he came back to reality, he hadn't realized how exhausting that had all been. He felt fine, physically. Mentally though, this was heavy. It wasn't anything he couldn't handle. However, now he would be faced with consequences. Consequences that could have been avoided by either party. He understood his role in the situation, he had been attempting to get a reaction from them. Things got out of hand quickly though and Vidar had grown unprofessional. His eyes returned back to their half-lidded position, though, they remained as overwhelming and intense as always. They burned into the presence of the only conscious Sungods member, the injured one. He watched as she called for help, his gaze remained on her's. Vidar wasn't sure if she could detect the mixed emotions behind his hues. His body remained as usual apart from the heavy breathing, neutral and relaxed. However his eyes told a different story. He could see all the emotions in her eyes. Feelings of sadness, grief and maybe even hate. Vidar's body made no defensive movement as the Sungods Pack came to fetch the two. The male only looked away once she had turned her back.

Silence had filled the formerly loud clearing. The only sounds Vidar could hear was his heartbeat. It was beating at a fast pace, though it was quickly returning back to it's regular pace. The original tension in his shoulders had grown relaxed with the rest of his body. His breath returned to normal. All signs that his body had quickly gotten over the altercation. The possibility that he had possibly murdered two wolves. Vidar took a few paw steps forwards towards the stream that they had originally arrived to. He'd looked down at his reflection, his expression had returned back to normal, as if nothing had occurred. Dipping his large cranium, Vidar took a few sips of the refreshing water. It was mostly to wash out the salty taste of blood from his mouth. As he pulled away from his drinking position and looked back at his reflection, he was met with his amber eyes. The ones that revealed all he tried to hide. They too had grown stoic. However, there was a heaviness in his chest. One that didn't appear from the outside but lingered on the inside.

Turning to face away from the stream, Vidar had no other option but to head back to the Midnight Pack and report his altercation to Bloodborne.
