First off, we would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to all players who participated and submitted entries to the 10th anniversary contests. Choosing the winning entries for the contests was a difficult task among the team—there were so many wonderful submissions, it was hard to narrow it down! still wanting to claim isnt the issue, it was the fact that the whole joke was “it was a MALE in disguise as a gorgeous female this whole time!!” which has been harmful against the transgender community forever /lh and i recognize that while this wasnt the creator’s intentions, it can still be hurtful towards those that it effects. gonna note that im trans myself. it doesnt matter if ur trans and think its okay /lh — it is the joke itself that has been harmful. the write didnt intend it to be harmful, but you can definitely make a harmful joke without meaning to  /lh 6 players like this post! Thank you for taking the time to explain me what's causing trouble in my encounter, and to understand that I don't write transphobic offenses intentionally. I think I can understand why the "man in a dress joke" is harmful for trans people, but my text was not about that to me. The fact the lioness turned out to be a male was more a surprise, and the true "joke" was the player's king being frustrated to not be able to claim him after having a fall for him since the game doesn't allow it. The lion in my encounter is not trans, and absolutely not a "trap" nor a "male in disguise"! Just a non-stereotypical male, showing males can be sweet, delicate, sensitive, graceful, etc... too, even if some people could involuntary misgender him for that at the first meet, which happens in the encounter, as sometimes in real life. I honestly thought it was quite cute and inclusive, I feel regretful some of you saw transphobia in there. I'm waiting for the admins opinion, I'll be really disappointed if my text should not be included in the game for ascribing it bad intentions that I have not, but if it will, so be it. 6 players like this post! @Pathea 🌻 I didn't see it as transphobic at all. I thought it was adorable and I'm so sorry so many people see it as harmful. I would love to see it in game! I myself am trans masc and I have a transfem girlfriend who also thinks it's adorable 2 players like this post! Like? |
