My unpopular opinion is that I think Ubaste is the absolute worst looking base in the game. I tend to dislike a lot of the brighter and more flashy colorbomb bases, such as Decennial and Haliotis, but Ubaste will always be my least favorite no matter what.

The middle of the base looks extremely patchy because nothing is blended, leaving large gaps of just white that really stand out on the flank and face. There are large spots of dark pink in places that are strange, such as JUST the cheek fluff and that weird patch on the belly. The last and in my opinion absolute worst part of this crime of a base are the candy cane like markings that go across the tail, legs, and under eyes. They stand out so much and just look strange?? If you look at just the blank base on any of the female poses the stripes on the foreleg are SO pronounced and look so out of place.

Something about this base just makes me so irrationally angry and I can't explain fully why. There are other bases in the game that have a few of the issues listed above, yet none come even close to being as off putting as Ubaste is to me. Thank you for listening to my TED talk.

Piebald+lab frog+ good pose kings are overated , AT first it used to be fine with it but now it's way too overused and some lions have really bautyfullmane shaped and coulours but we can't see them bc of the lab frog , it's not rly original anymore (feel free to disagree)

I'm still confused as to why people say there aren't enough good "natural" colored bases & that there should be more when all of the commons, uncommons, and rares (aka colors you'll get on a regular basis) are some shade of brown, yellow, red, gray, white, or black. Even the specials have a lot of muted colors; March, May, and November has brown/gold/gray bases & markings for days, but even the more colorful events like July, June, and December have colors like Skyward, Reindeer, Bast, etc. Just this month we got Abyssinian & Medal. It's especially obvious with recolors; out of the 3 recolors of Chatoyant, only one is an unnatural color (and a combo at that, a type of base known for pitifully low pass rates). The other two are brown Seth and gray Medal, & both are applicators that are much easier to obtain, and therefore much easier to spread, than Serruria. Yes there are a lot of colorbomb bases, yes some are very garish & easy to look ugly, but they're all special rarity, and therefore hard to get even when you try. Meanwhile, natural colors fill up the majority of bases, and if you really want a rare natural, then there are a bunch of natural specials, natural combos, natural raffle bases, hybrid-exclusive naturals, NCL-exclusive naturals, etc. to choose, so they're not exactly hard to come by.
I don't know, I just don't get why people complain about a problem that I just don't see.

I think what most of the people who want more "natural" bases are looking for are things that are actually natural looking or earthy toned. Usually the colors that are considered "natural" in lioden terms are creams, muted oranges, pale yellows, tans and browns. The reds, greys, blacks, brighter yellows and whites don't really fit that category. I think another reason that people say there aren't enough good natural colored bases is because while yes, there are a decent amount of common and uncommon bases that fit what is considered natural, there are far less natural special bases than there are unnatural special bases.

Though I do agree with you that we do already have a good amount of natural bases to be used and I believe that a lot of people just tend to forget about the common and uncommon bases because they don't really hold any worth and are easy to obtain.

Even then, there are a lot of good-looking naturals in desirable categories, like event bases, combos, and exclusives. Again, March, May, & November are full of golden & brown bases, all of the NCL & hybrid exclusives are golden, combo bases include Asiatic, Cairngorm, etc., and even the commons include some fairly interesting naturals like Bronze, Doubloon, and Deira. Uncommons and rares also have a number of pretty natural bases to pick such as Goridhe, Champagne, Rhubarb, and Fulvous.

honestly, dwarves dont look ”cute” at all. i dont get the hype for their looks. sure, its a good mutation to have, since it helps you get further into the game by selling them, their heats etc. yet, they look like a weiner dog mated with a lion a lot of people call dwarf cubs ”beans” as refering to their little size or possible cuteness, but i sincerely do not see it and the nickname beans cringes me out a little

I do think dwarfs r 'cute' but I never really liked them and they're disgusting and ugly to me in a way (I don't think people who like dwarfs are wrong in it, they're just different to me) this is conflicting but I would get one if it didnt take effort to breed. Maybe a frozen one I'm not going to spend 10 scrots trying to breed a dwarf along with the gb I buy it for. I would get one because it would be fun to have and maybe partially because other people like them they go 'awww cute'

i'm glad people like natural bases lol I don't like colourbombs either, it would be so good if the designs flowed well but I don't think I've ever seen a colourbomb that I loved the look of

My unpopular opinion is that the most of natural looking raffle lionesses are ugly (in the breeding perspective). The overall design is usually super pretty with all the traits -- however if you breed them and only get around 5-7/10 markings they just look ugly. The problem isn't at the design tho - It's just that the (most) brown/tan/beige/etc markings just look ugly alone :(

I kind of agree, Tsaari - though I would personally call it 'boring' rather than ugly ^^ Just not a lot of variance between brown and light brown and dusty brown lmao

My unpopular(?) opinion is that Siamese markings don't really look good, at least on a high slot. With the legs and face covered, it makes the body look kind of detached. I don't like it x(

I don't like prismatic base it looks stupid with most markings and on it's own. maybe there should be more interstellar type marks since there's similar bases to it but idk if theyd look good
