Recently I've noticed that prices for basic things on lioden have gone up quite a bit since I joined and it's causing some of the fun to be sucked out of the game because of the grind it forces for basic things as enough silver beetles to do what you need to is near impossible to get in the timeframe you need to. I remember when I joined at the end of April last year it was 15sb to use the Falcon's Eye and it has been bumped to quadruple that. So I'm suggesting prices be lowered. Falcon's Eye goes down to 15 Hidden Marking Discovery goes down to 100 Hidden Marking Reveal goes down to 150-200 Also maybe have some things that cost gb, either cost less gb or no gb as it has caused the game to start to feel a little bit pay-to-win and I've actually had some friends quit the game because of it. Though if that changes it's ultimately up to the devs. |

Falcon's eye always have been 60sb for checking mutations. Maybe not always but certainly since I joined. Ultrasound was and still is 15sb. And you don't have to spend a single dollar on the game and still have plenty of GB ;) Right now you can sell roasted lambs and easter eggs for gb. Unfortunately, Falcon's Eye has always cost 60 SB since it's implementation, as far as my memory serves. You may be accidentally confusing the price for the Ultrasound with the price for the Falcon's Eye- I have done the same, especially since they're on the same page! As for the GB items- having items that boost certain aspects of the site cost GB encourages the spending that keeps this site afloat, since there's no advertisements. I know for the first several years of the game I didn't spend a cent on GB and earned it mainly by selling items I had no need for, and I know other users sell art, writing, and lions they don't want. The Falcon's Eye is mostly used to check for adult mutations, which is an entirely optional thing (the Falcon's Eye, not the mutations- your adult mutation lion will have that mutation regardless of whether the falcon is consulted or not), so unless you are checking every cub for an adult mutation before they turn two years old I don't see an issue with how it's priced. I do agree with you on the hidden marking discovery price, though! I wouldn't want to just unlock a hidden marking slot and end up potentially ruining my lion's looks (especially if they're an NCL or Chased with no way to figure out what Marking Slot 13 is without spending a ton of SB to unlock the slot). TLDR; The only things I disagree with are the Falcon's Eye price change as it's always been 60 SB, and the GB thing as that's how this site is funded without ads! 2 players like this post! Like? |
