Hello! Had a quick question that I couldnβt find a solid info page for: With rosettes, I understand the chance to appear is random; with rosette *inheritance* however, is it still random? I.e., would a rosette in a very high hidden marking spot (like 19, RIP) have a substantial chance of being passed? And if passed, is it limited to the original marking slot? Thank you! 0 players like this post! Like? |

All markings that the cub inherits stay in the same slot that the mom and/or dad have. It can't jump slots. Random rosettes spawn random slots, but that's it. If the dad has onyx heavy rosette on slot 19, yes it can pass on to the cub and to see it on the cub you have to open all the slots from 11 to 19 to see it. And no, it can not change slots, it gets inherited on the same slot the dad has it on. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

To add, all slots, 1 to 20, act the same inheritance-wise. Only the first 10 slots are open automatically on all lions and you need to pay 500 SB per slot after that. Hidden markings that are not open can not be passed on to the cubs before they are open. Random rosettes which you get from breeding randomly are the only markings that get inherited on random slot. Hope this helps ^^ 1 player likes this post! Like? |

That was very helpful! Thank you for taking the time to explain everything. Wishful thinking on the whole slot-switching aspect I suppose. Have a great day :) 1 player likes this post! Like? |
