I just had a 6x dawn bred, and I'm thinking about doing a breeding project. I marked down studs that have a marking in the slot that I want my heir to have. Is that the best way to do that? I'm curious if I'll be able to achieve it by the time they would die. That's the lion below. Should I just king him now or use him and a 5x dawn for the project as well? When I breed them do I just use a marking removal and remove the markings I don't want... This is my first project so any tips would help https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794192358558 0 players like this post! Like? |

Whatever option you choose - you should king it. Breeding projects with a lot of BO markings take very long time to complete. I would king the cub, mass breed it to get as many multidawn marked cubs as possible and then use those in the project. But if your project has even one rosette you will have to use a lot of gnaws (50+ gb each) at the end of the project. And your plan if for 4. It's not possible to reliably achieve that. You can use only 2 gnaws in each breeding. Triples come usually from pons since then MR passes as normal marking. For a triple without MR you would have to be lucky to get a random rosette (which can replace a marking you DO want - it's really frustrating in my project). To get quads - you need to use 2 gnaws, a pon with MR (or breed pon to the stud with MR) & get lucky and get a random rosette, That's why they're so expensive. Also I wouldn't recommend having a project with marks on slots higher than 12. You would need to reveal each slot on each lion used in the project so it could be passed, And you usually need to mass breed a lot to get a project done. It would get horribly expensive pretty quick :/ One more thing - you need to take into an account that the studs you want to use can be replaced with totally different looking heir at any moment. So if you have only one stud for certain marking I would start with this one. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 24/04/23 @ 14:13:38 by Magnituda [sunrise project] (#198042) |
