Hi, I’ve been on Lioden for a while now but it’s only the second time of me replacing a king and actually planning for the heir.
I know there is the early retirement fee and the retirement cooldown, but does the cooldown still apply if your newly kinged heir you want to retire (say for a mut or heritage replacement) is old and could be retired naturally?
Mainly asking because the heir I bought is a bit older and it’ll still be a while until I king him so I’d like to prepare for the cooldown fee for his Mut replacement if necessary so I don’t get caught off guard and have him die before I can replace him
(Sorry if the wording is a bit confusing)

If a heir is older than 10, he will be aged down to 8 years old; so he wont get to reach "free" retirement age before the 1 month retirement cooldown is up, in any case.
