Their value tends to go up during battle-heavy months like October, June, and (I think) July, but moreso once they become less common, as after April they're scarcely available in minigames like slots. It is up to you whether to sell them, but it's nice to have some on hand for battling tough enemies in Explore :)

What would you say their value goes up to in battle-heavy months like Oct/June/July? 500SB? More?

I probably will keep some but since I have a lot right now I don't see the harm in selling some if it'll make some good SB.
