Uncanny. I really hope it’s just a case of the artists not recognizing something so similar already exists, and not to be rude but I think there are many other variations out there of ice antlers, it’s weird they wouldn’t have thought it existed before..

I will refuse to support the new antlers and will instead continue to support yours. I think it is not only rude, but very unprofessional of them. I hope that they refrain from doing anything like this in the future.

I can't believe Lioden would do that to you. I really hope it was the unintentional, but even then they should have checked if any custom items like it already existed before releasing it on the market. Nia said it perfectly: that's incredibly rude and unprofessional.

The thing is, though, about the Icicle Antlers, that Lioden made the Jack Frost decor first, the decor on which Ravenkor based their antlers. And yes, since Ravenkor did this in a new angle and on a lion rather than a reindeer, it was perfectly fair to create it. However, Jack Frost came first, with icicle antlers, and the Icicle Antlers that Lioden just released are far from identical to the Jack Frost-like antlers Ravenkor made. They aren't even the same species of deer, nor do they share the same number of points or overall shape. What is more, these Icicle Antlers are just a recolor of a decor Lioden had already created. I do not believe they either intentially or unintentially "stole" Ravenkor's work. Are the two similiar? Ish. Are they identical? Absolutely not.

It's more or less the fact they released it with the same exact name and everything. They changed it once multiple people contacted them about it. They weren't even icicle antlers at first, but 'ice antlers' just like mine.

The icicle antlers are literally based off of Jack Frost we can see you took heavy inspiration from him so I find it funny how your so offended at lioden for creating a different yet similar design to them when they did it first, just saying because I don’t think all the hate the original creator is getting for this.

Didn't you use jack frost as your inspiration for your antlers? I just find jt very hypocritical for saying ld took your idea. It's a clear recolor of already existing deer decor if it had been closer to yours I'd understand but they aren't all that close in concept art. As for the name I get that but they aren't in the wrong for making deer antlers

Either way, I'm done with it. This isn't the first time they've stepped on a CD artist's toes and it sure as hell won't be their last. I'ma just say, I doubt they would let someone submit a decor with the exact same name as an official decor if they paid attention to it.

To be fair, however, they are antlers made of ice. The naming opportunities are rather limited. I understand that you feel as if they copied your work to some degree, but I honestly believe they simply expanded on their own previous work, which you, yourself, had taken inspiration from. Their inspiration was almost certainly their own previous work, not your newer decor that came after theirs.

Not to start discourse but the Jack Frost decor- while having existed BEFORE Ravenkhor's Ice Antlers, (2019/2020 I believe), they also released the reindeer antlers. Meaning if they WANTED to release Ice Antlers Beforehand they could've easily done it. But they didn't.

It's very evident that they looked at Ravenkhor's idea, and literally put in the bare minimum it even make the antlers look like ice. They quite literally took the Antlers from 2023's Black Friday and recoloured them. Minus the fact that if they were basing it off Jack Frost's antlers from the decor, they would be well aware of Custom Decors that already exist, so calling them Ice Antlers initally straight up sucked.

Now, what they could've done was recolour the reindeer antlers, made them more frosty, and called them Jack Frost's antlers. Problem solved.

So for everyone saying Ravenkhor is overreacting- your wrong. :)
