Okay I don't know if I'm allowed to post here, but I'm really curious about your community. I in no way identify as anything other than human but I've always wondered what's up with you guys (I can't think of a better way to word that, sorry  ). I myself practice Daemonism, which I suppose is sort of aligned with otherkin in a way. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@wolves I'm pretty the only difference is that Therian spiritually or psychologically find themselves not entirely human or believe they were an animal in a past life and an Otherkin finds themselves spiritually or psychologically connected to a mythological animal or human-animal hybrid (ex: a dragon or centaur) just any animal that isn't "real" as in not existing in this world (as far as we know) in short Therian real animal (ex: dog or pigeon) and Otherkin fantasy animal (ex: pegasus or centaur 1 player likes this post! *blinks in chaos* I am here now because the idea of therians and otherkin interest me(do not mean that in any bad way whatsoever) and I honestly have no idea what I identify as because I haven't ever felt any strong connection to any certain thing like my brain knows I'm physically human but like that exactly doesn't feel right also am I the only one here that feels more connected to their oc's than their physical body 0 players like this post! also with being a therian it can be an animal that exists (cat, dog, wolf, ect.) or even one that is now extinct (Tasmanian tiger, dinos, ect.) i actually made my oc in sort of a way i felt my body would fit the best (dunno how since i mostly experience phantom limbs from my maned wolf theriotype mainly so that was the base i built off of but also white-tailed deer (antlers, ear shape, some patterns, plus plays a part in the legs) and faun kintype (the legs) 0 players like this post!
