So, I looked at the wiki page for bases, and thought to myself that the July event needs more variety in its blue bases, especially since most July bases are sky-based. Not just dark blue or slightly blue or gray-blue, but blue-greens and blue-violets and just blue, especially since certain bases should've been blue but aren't (looking at you, Moonstone). So I created this base, Twilight, which is based on how most of the sky turns bright blue and yellow during that time.

All bases proposed use galaxy eyes and blue skin for mockups.

Twilight
Black Medium Countershaded Special


Note that the base is darker and sparklier at the front than the back, to reflect how twilight looks and its nature as a liminal time between day and night.

Now here's the fun part. One thing that I want to see in bases are base-exclusive fails, ie. bases that can only be obtained as fails from another, specific base, much like the exclusive fails for eye colors. For Twilight, I have 4 fail bases considered that are determined by the genetics of the other parent, one for each color, all are Countershaded

Black Dark Countershaded Special


Morning OR Eosporus
Cream Medium Countershaded Special


Noon
Golden Light Countershaded Special


Note that these fails are not combos, the base of the other parent doesn't matter as long as they have the genetics to make them possible. A Sunglow NCL and a Maat lion have an equal chance of producing a Noon base when bred to Twilight because they're both Golden Light Countershaded, for example.
Also, while they look more like Specials, the way they are acquired makes me lean a little towards them being Rare instead.

Still considering whether Twilight should be breed-only, as while those are in high demand and don't have enough blue bases, the only plausible way it can be introduced is through the Celestial Raffle, which like the normal raffle is bad at spreading bases, and its fails are already BO. It could be an applicator on the same level as Demiurge, but there are already a lot of applicators in July. Tbh though, I don't really mind either way. EDIT: Based on feedback, I've decided that Twilight should be an applicator.
