On a lion's page, their sex is incorrectly labelled as gender.
Gender is not the same as sex, and when referring to physical attributes we refer to a creature's sex.

My proposed change would look like this:

Why is this such a big deal?

Well, everywhere else on the site, it says sex.



Not acknowledging that gender and sex are different is not only scientifically incorrect, it also makes the site less inclusive towards the LGBTQIA+ community, particularly trans folk.

So what would this change do?

✦ Changing it would make the site far more inclusive to trans people.

✦ Changing it would also make the language used on the site more comprehensible for people who do not speak English as a first or native language.

✦ This change would further enable people to be more creative when writing individual identities and lore for their lions.

✦ It would be more realistic and scientifically accurate.
