I have absolutely no experience with RLs and RLCs so I need some help. Long story short, went looking for studs for the punk challenge, found a really nice one, dwarf was in heat, and decided to kill two birds with one stone. The mom has 5 markings of her own so I wasn’t expecting anything besides a dwarf with a couple BO marks at most. So naturally I ended up with two cubs that have 10 traits in common with the RL, and one with 5. The dwarf I got from it also has 4. All of this is assuming I’m counting traits right considering I have no experience. First Cub (10) Second Cub (10) Third Cub (5) Dwarf (4) The RL in question is the one from 1-27-23 So my questions are basically: Do any of these cubs qualify as NRLCs? I don’t like false advertising and I’d rather not call them that if none of them are. I feel like the 10s would definitely qualify more than the other two, but if the threshold is 12 traits then I don’t want to call them NRLCs either. And regardless of the answer to the first question, how much are these guys worth, especially the dwarf? 0 players like this post! Like? While I can't specifically price check them since it varies from RL to RL, I can give you some personal tips regarding RLC traits -- everyone will have a differing opinion, but from my personal experience "NRLCs" usually count 10/15 and above. Some people will count lower, some higher. I usually just label anything under 9/15 to simply have some RL traits, or I simply label them with the number of traits that they have in common with the respective RL. The market is pretty messed up right now so your best bet would be to sell them in a relatively cheap price range. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Thank you for the response, that is good to know. Yeah the market as a whole is the worst I’ve seen it so far (at least since I’ve been back from a multi year hiatus that is, I actually don’t remember much from before). I’ve been having issues selling in heat clean dwarfs for more than 20 GB for a couple months at least, which was part of the reason I bred my dwarf to a lion with a lot of BO marks, an attempt to raise the value slightly. It doesn’t surprise me that the RL side of the market is shot too. And I guessed the price would depend on the RL, it makes sense that more popular RLs would have more valuable clones. I included the RL date since I figured it might be helpful but maybe I should put a picture in there too for convenience. 0 players like this post! Like? Yep. It's hard to sell pretty much anything, and dwarves have gotten the brunt of it it seems. I'd try and sell the dwarf for 25-30 GB if you can. Or alternatively you could set up auctions, or let people offer for them in general! I'm sure there will be people interested As for the RL, it's still a recent one so I don't think it's as well spread as the others, usually I'd price 10/15 and 11/15 cubs for 15 GB - 35 GB, with the price increasing significantly with every extra trait that brings it closer to a full clone. Marking clones are more valuable (if it's a full 10/15 marking clone for example, I usually price them on the higher side) For 5/15 and above I'd say 2 GB - 15 GB range. 0 players like this post! That makes sense. Thank you for the info! I actually had no idea even the 5/15 cub would be worth more than a couple hundred SB. With the TC the way it is now I’ll probably set up an auction thread and see what people say. I was actually thinking about doing that for the other dwarf I have. In the past I’ve found threads are a bit slower than just setting up a trade, but I have a feeling it might be a bit faster than that these days. 0 players like this post! Like? |
