This may seem dumb, but right now the "Forum Rules" section of the forum is kind of obscure for new players; and I seem to be seeing an uptick in things such as -

1. The Sale of Goodie Bags - which is against the Stockpile Rules

2. The sale of traced art and/or characters being bought/sold, or assets from other websites being sold. I have reported every thread I've come across so far. - these go against the Tree Carving rules.

I don't frequent the roleplay forums myself, but that's besides the point.

The point of this post is to make the Rules Section of the forum more apparent, move them into their own category (like News) to make it more likely that they'll actually be read and followed by new players.

Support.

The RP forums I don't go on because I dislike RPing on forums. But I have seen quite a few topics that I got messaged about saying do not do -insert topic here- yet I see the same exact thing posted in the forums and no repercussions to the thread creator. Which is unfair really.

Support, forum rules are actually really weirdly placed. I'm always kind of surprised whenever I go to seek them out to make sure I'm not breaking any rules with a post and refresh my memory. I can't imagine how more annoying it would be to a new player who would probably expect them to be in plain sight.

Support, and more broadly, I think the Code of Conduct should be updated to include all site rules, even ones that are currently only stated in other areas of the site. For example, how is a new player supposed to know about the restrictions on advertising "faux lethals/hybrids/RLs" when it's only ever mentioned in an old news post? In my opinion the CoC should be comprehensive so people don't have to go hunting around the forums, news posts, FAQ, etc to find specific rules they otherwise wouldn't know existed.

I have them bookmarked just because I lose them frequently myself. They definitely need to compile everything.

Huge support! Maybe even have a quiz similar to the one that goes over the code of conduct before you can post on forums?
I also agree with fern, another rule that is hidden in a news post outlaws placeholder trades, which I see all the time.
