It's all about personal preference really. I'm literally all over the place when I'm looking for a heir or new king. But I try to look for what people might like, and what might be popular in terms of requests.

Right now I'm on an aviation kick, so I will probably try to find a lion that looks like my favorite airline but also make sure he's not too bland or boring. If that fails I'll stick to my Organization XIII project.

I also look for mutations since I've almost always had a mutie stud, but also one who is low gen and not inbred since that's pretty popular. Of course I know inbreeding has no negative effects, I just want to appeal to the clean breeders ^^;

But whatever works for me may not work for you. So as they say, you do you, and go for what you find appealing and what you want for a king.

I agree with Mots and lots of what I am saying is related to what they suggested, but if you want to get profit out of your king, i recommend getting a king that is desirable so people would stud to you and make it a medium/reasonable price.

I think that you should try to get a clean stud, whatever he/she is, because clean studs are more used even if it's by dirty breeders because they can then inbreed.

And, yes, do you! It really is your own personal preference and whatever you like at the moment.


If you're looking where to look, I suggest buying one from what you can afford from the TC/Forum Sales/Auctions. I don't recommend raffles because you could use more money than what the actual lion you want could cost, and if other people have entered you might not know if you'd win or not, so I suggest you do you <3
