Mostly for convenience when crafting things- the ability to "star" or otherwise tag a crafting recipe as important or a favorite recipe, and a corresponding option in the search dropdown menu for saved recipes. Essentially a way to be able to scroll through all the recipes you want to craft so you can see if you're able to craft any of them, without having to scroll past the recipes you're not as interested in.
