Ginger looked at FreckleStar in concern. "You're in no shape to fight, let's get you fixed up first," she mewed, putting her tail gently over FreckleStar's shoulder, she led FreckleStar to the corner where she had been hiding. It was shaded and seemed to be one of the few safe spaces in the labyrinth of rooms. "Do you have any herbs in your pouch that can help with bleeding.. possibly acting as a painkiller too?" she mewed, keeping one eye on the water demon that towered over her sleeping mother.

Cotton drifted in her sleep. Ginger? Is that you? she thought as she dreamed. She faded in and out of the dream world, getting glimpses of Ginger and FreckleStar's voices.

She sighs. "I do have some herbs left." She grabbed one from her pouch and ate it. She looks at Cotton. "Ginger. Tell Sun you two need to fight the monster. I'll contact Cotton in her dream." FreckleStar says. She shuts her eyes and her body stops twitching. She was in a deep sleep.

Ginger stepped away from FreckleStar, letting her do her thing. She turned to Sun. "We have to fight that water-demon monster," she mewed. "I'll distract while you attack from behind, okay?"

Cotton was dreaming of a pink gazelle. A delicious pink gazelle. She and Ginger had gone on a hunting trip through the pink Savannahs. Suddenly she saw a misty figure appeared in the distance. "Huh?" she mewed dazedly, "you're not pink.. hey have I seen you before?" Suddenly she remembered. Everything. "FreckleStar, it's youuuu!" she purred, rubbing up against the lioness like a happy housecat. "How are you?"

She smiled. "Cotton. This is all a dream." She says. Her expression turned from happy to serious. "If you stay asleep for to long... you die in the real world. Ginger and Sun are waiting for you and me to waking up to help. Right now you are about to be eaten but Ginger and Sun are buying us time." She puts her head on Cottons shoulder. "Please wake up. I don't want anyone to die in the tunnels." She says her voice breaking.

Apollo hated to feel useless so he instead tried to look for the cure alone without notifying anyone about his plans. Later the tiny companion woke up and saw that Apollo was alone and started to panick “don’t worry little one. I was just stopping them with my leg.” He said but the creature didn’t calm down. Could Apollo be wandering off have to do something with the nightmare? The tiny creature thought he was shaken awoke by Apollo’s trembling. Sudddenly a wounded raven crashed infront off Apollo it disappeared into tiny snowflakes. “Magic!” Apollo said out loud it looked like the elders magic at home. “Dear Apollo. It’s been a few days we wanted to know if you where still alive. I don’t have great news on Whispers recovery.” Reading this Apollo has to sit down. “She has a week left maybe less. We wish that you hurry up. For whisper. If you can’t find the cure. “ there was a big gap between the first and next sentence the writing was sloppy “Apollo its me whisper im telling you this because I want you here at my side when I go away. Please come back if you are sure you won’t find the cure. Atleast we will be together for a few final days” tears fell from Apollo’s face as he heard a loud lions roar and a terrible scream from a demon.

FreckleStar jumps awake. "Sun Ginger. I'll be back!" FreckleStar says. She starts running to Apollo but then trips. She was in the dark. Alone. Something grabbed her. It scratches her and bit her hind leg. She roared but then something scratched her throat and threw her into the cave wall where Apollo was. She had blood dripped down her head and her right side of her body. She stopped breathing.

Apollo heard it happen he could see though only in a certain range. “Frecklestar” Apollo said seeing her lifeless body. He saw the woud and looked at his “shit.” He said he went to cover Frecklestars wound with herbs. “ wake up freckle star please.” Frecklestar didn’t respond “please I can’t lose another friend” Apollo crawled upto frecklestars cold body and started to silently cry. The companion looked at frecklestars face and snuggles on her nose Apollo saw the tiny creature cry.

“You!” Apollo looked at the monster and he has this sudden energy boost. “I knew it was you from the start!” Apollo was furious. “Hahah…. Apollo…. This brings back memories doesn’t it?” The shadow monster approached Apollo. But he smiled “ I see that you still never have found you body now have you?” Apollo smirked at the monster who now was clenching its teeth. “Still in the mood for jokes? I see that’s why you are here.” The monster laughs at his own stupid joke “what are you doing here? Apollo” the monster said Apollo’s name so creepy it gave chills to everyone who could hear it. “I’m looking for the cure that will heal Whisper who is infected with YOUR CURSE!” Apollo roared as he realised he stood over frecklestar’s body to protect it for further harm “hahaha… history repeats itself…. Can I tell you. A little secret?” The shadow stared into Apollo’s eyes and suddenly he couldn’t move anymore “you’ve walked with the cure for so long”. Apollo didn’t understand but he could see the shadow monster looking at the little companion who was still crying over Frecklestar “GO TO HELL!” Apollo launched him self to the monster but he hit the wall “hahaha Apollo with out my body im already in hell” the monster disappeared into the shadows “Apollo?” Frecklestar was weak but alive “your alive” Apollo was happy and he sat down beside her watching over her. “Thank you” he said booping the little companion with his nose. He was relived he had found the cure. But he couldn’t leave without helping his friends

She looked up to Apollo. "Apollo.. leave. We'll be fine." She trys to get up but falls down again. The shadow monster laughs, "Oh weak little FreckleStar. You know... the demons didn't kill your sister." It laughs again. "Your little companion. It killed your sister." FreckleStar looks at the companion. Then at the shadow monster. The shadow monster pounced on her and ripped at her neck. It backed away smiling. It disappeared into the shadows. Her throat was bleeding blood. Her eyes closed. Her breathing stopped. She took her final breath. Her heart stopped.

“Dang it Abaddon!” He roared at the disappearing demon “dont you dare to die Frecklestar I won’t let you!” Apollo looked at he little companion you didn’t did you?” The companion looked clue less but then booped Apollo’s nose “I did kill them” a voice said Apollo looked around but no one talked he then looked at the ground it was the companion “my name is Violet. And yes Iam the cure.” Violet came closer to Apollo “I never ment to cause any harm to them.” Violet looked down she was sad. “I see you’ve met Abaddon before?” Apollo nodded “he’s tortured my pride for generations we thought we killed him with the help of a friend but looks like it didn’t work “
Violet looked at Frecklestar “she’s dead Apollo.” Violet looked sad “why did you kill them?” Apollo asked “They where cursed just like whisper is. I just ended their suffering I wanted to tell Frecklestar what happened but for some reason we couldn’t connect like you and me right now.”
“Is Frecklestar really dead ?” Apollo said with tears in his eyes “ im afraid so…” Apollo wiped off his tears “you are the cure can you bring Frecklestar back? And heal whisper?” Violet was quiet “I will heal whisper but reviving somoene from the dead comes with a price.” “Anything” Apollo said. “You know… I’ve been here for so long Apollo….” Violet looked down “I saw so many of my friends die by the demons… I want to go away want to explore the world!” Violet looked at Apollo “I will revive her but your leg will feel her pain. “ Apollo looked at his hind leg. “Why my leg?” Violet sighted “since Abaddon bit you with a special kind of magic you two are now bound or atleast your legs are. Every thing his leg feels your leg feels and same goes for you. “ so if I feel pain in my leg he feels it to?” Violet nodded “and what about frecklestar’s leg?” “Same goes for her. Do we have a deal?” Apollo nodded and a stroke of instense pain went trough his body to his leg and it was unbearable “Frecklestar started to unfreeze and Violet could hear her hearth beat slowly again “she just needs rest. I’ve removed the memorie of Abaddon telling her what I did.” Apollo looked disapproving “you shouldn’t. “ Violet continued “if she knew now her hearth will stop because it’s to weak. We have to wait a little bit.” Apollo nodded “Apollo? I’m cold” Frecklestar said sneezing. “Why does she have a cold?” Apollo said to Violet “im the cure not a medic.” Violet said and Apollo laughed a little “im comming Frecklestar just rest. The others will handle the situation just fine I know it.” Saying this Frecklestar fell peacefully asleep next to Apollo who also wanted rested a little after enduring the pain. Violet was infront of them “may I?” She asked Apollo “yes you can snuggle in my mane.” Violet was full of joy but she was tired after healing Frecklestar.
I’m sure they handle the situation just fine thought how did she find me? Apollo wondered
