Welcome! This is the official forum post for The NCL Agenda clan. We are a clan dedicated to the appreciation and breeding of both NCLs and their exclusive traits. Here at The NCL Agenda, we believe in the NCL-ification of lioden. With no heritage, a wide pool of marks, and a delightful charm, NCLs are truly the cornerstone of lioden. This thread should contain all clan content, so absolutely all conversation is welcome here. Breed a cute maziwa? Show it off. Cute NCL in explore? We wanna see.

The following information describes the traits that we focus on here. This is copied from the clan description, so feel free to skip if you’ve read it already or are familiar with NCL exclusive traits!


Bases
The pillars of NCL breeding are the NCL exclusive bases. It's near impossible to find a golden-lover on site that doesn't have a weakness for at least one of them. Asali, Dhahabi, Maziwa, and Mobola continue to be some of the best bases on site. Easy to obtain breeding stock for and versatile in their design capabilities, the NCL exclusive bases are a natural breeders' dream. Despite this, the NCL exclusive bases remain some of the lowest in king numbers. Here are the current king counts:

Asali: 11 kings
Dhahabi: 12 kings
Maziwa: 35 kings
Mobola: 14 kings

Not great, right? Encouraging and supporting the kinging of NCL exclusive bases is a main focus of The NCL Agenda.


Eyes
There are two types of NCL eyes: year-round and event. The NCL Agenda recognizes both of these as NCL traits to focus on. The year round NCL exclusive eyes are as follows: albinoid, celadon, ceramic, chamotte, cordovan, glass, glaze, mosaic, smalti, terracotta, and tessera.
*Bolded eye colors have the ability to “fail” into breed unique eye colors. Aren’t NCLs cool?

Special NCL exclusive eyes are released during specific months. Once the relevant tier for that month is unlocked, NCLs with the special eyes will start to appear in explore. The NCL Agenda will be focusing on the following eyes:

February: dove, maroon, pearl, rose
April: daisy, gazania, hyacinth, iris
*Note that unlike the event NCL markings, these eyes are considered BO


Skins
Who doesn’t love a cute little pink nose? There are currently 4 NCL exclusive skins: clouded, greige, peach, and pale. Let’s pray for more to be added in the future!


Markings
Markings is where the unlimited possibilities of NCLs begin. Much like eyes, there are two types of tier 3 NCL markings: year-round and event. However, there is one more important distinction between the two. The NCL Agenda considers year-round marks to be BO, while event markings are NOT considered to be BO due to their ability to be applied with piety in November. However, we still love them, and will include a link to them below!

Manes
Yes, there are NCL exclusive manes! While not visible on the claiming screen, NCLs can have exclusive, BO mane colors. There are currently three in game: clay, copal, and marigold. They make for a pleasant surprise after a claim.

What do we offer here?

Great question! One that the answer to is still in development. If we can reach sizable membership, I do plan to host all the good clan stuff: contests, games, raffles. But for now I have two main services planned: the wanted board and breeder hub. On the wanted board, you can post for specific traits you are looking for. The breeder hub will serve as a collection of studs and breeders to help connect members with similar goals. More information about each will be found in their own post!
