There are two common definitions of "freezing" on Lioden.

The first one is via the Turritopsis Jellyfish in Oasis, the Jellyfish from the slots game, and the Canopic Jellyfish which can be bought in June event shops. They have slightly different uses but do essentially the same thing—make a lion immortal. The lion cannot hunt, breed, be kinged, will not lose hunger, etc.. It is a trophy, essentially. I believe the Turritopsis Jellyfish is used for adolescents and adults, the normal Jellyfish for cubs, and the Canopic will bring back deceased lions.

The other "freezing" is the act of storing lions on an account that doesn't rollover. Since rolling over ages a lion, lions stuck on an account will never age. This preserves a lion's lifespan. For example, I've had a lion since December 2021, and using this method, he's just about 5 years old in-game.
