The questline would start off simple, you would meet this love goddess and she'd ask you some questions, this is where the player could put in their preferences for what they want their end result to be! My first inclination would be that they'd get the lioness at the end, a generated design based off of your previously selected interests! BUT since not everyone may want a lioness or may not like their result, you could always opt to go for a 'treasure' she could be guarding? Such as some breeding items, special decors specific to the adventure, etc.

For those "questions" the NPC asks, it would cut to a page where you see a couple type-in menus(such as those found in the trading center) with a 5 item limit on each selection for bases*, eyes, mane, and mane color. There could be a 3 item limit on personality, and a 10 item limit on marking types/colors. So the result is pretty randomized! You would HAVE to pick out all possible options so it would be more like getting a non-randomized wenet cousin rather than making your own super crazy RL if that makes sense. Just to keep it fair and mysterious!

* The bases section could be changed to picking what you'd like in genetics rather than specific bases. Such as you would choose 2 from each category, but these wouldn't have to be 100% filled out like the others, you could choose one of each. MAYBE there could be another category for the base types like "Breed-Only, Applicator, Combo, Custom, NCL-Exclusive" etc- which you could also choose up to 2 from? Let me know what y'all think!
Quick note: Hybrid traits would be excluded from the options since those are exclusive to those mutations, I dunno if rosettes could be included in this since it wouldn't be fantabulous if people started popping up with a crap ton of rosette-stuffed lions when it's supposed to be a challenge to breed them

Once you made your selections, you would have to confirm them twice to lock them in, just to make sure that no misclicks were made and you are SURE that those traits are what you want in your lioness's design pool. If you wanted to go back and change your preferences, you would have until... Maybe half-way through the whole ordeal to do that? That would be fair, because peoples' preferences change all the time!

So the hardest part about putting all this together HAS to be coming up with unique things to do. Luckily, Lioden has some heavy focus already on Lioness claiming! So here are my ideas for quests you'd go through.

Completing the Old Lioness' "claim 50 lionesses" quest 5 times. Yes that would be a lot of lionesses but you'd get good rewards to begin with, there could be a higher chance of her showing up, and instead of 2 rollovers for cooldown, it could just be 1.

Going around explore and claiming lionesses to ask them questions OR visiting other players' dens/lionesses to ask them questions about the Legendary Lioness! It could be similar to the Demiurge's "Spread the word" quest, but not as extreme... Or maybe just as extreme because you could always ask multiple lionesses from various prides?

Battling male lions off in explore that are also in search of the Legendary Lioness, gathering whatever information they have.

Reporting "gossip" to the goddess in exchange for 'tips', to do this you would go through your own pride and select from that drop-down menu where it usually says "Play, Tussle and Groom", there would be an extra option called "Gossip"- Along with the usual mood boost, the pride members would give you some nice randomized flavor text, similar to what the grandpaws do!

Breed x amount of cubs- pretty self explanatory and time consuming as all these quests are

Bring x amount of cubs to the goddess? She could have a subplot where she is building a utopia and wants some fresh new members "untainted by the cruelty of the world"

Other side of the coin, you could bring her lionesses she requests? Such as she could ask for 10 lionesses with black medium solid base genetics or something, or she could just want random lions

Quests will of course get harder as you get farther along until you finally reach the end, where you could go through a special explore area called "far away lands" or "secluded paradise", where you'd get a background of that biome. Pick paths based on what you think looks right and eventually you'll make it to the Legendary Lioness and her fabulous hoard!

After your long and arduous journey you finally meet the lady of your dreams, is she just as you imagined? She stands regal in her home, surrounded by treasures and gifts collected over.. what looks like a lifetime!
Note #2- she could live in a different section of the secluded paradise depending on what personality she has- Good would be surrounded by life and flowers, singing birds, etc., Kind would be surrounded by small creatures she took mercy on, all looking at her adoringly, Neutral could be in a waterfall area, just chillin with a snack, Snarky could be in a less friendly area where she looks more like a hermit than someone willing to meet you, and of course Evil would have to be surrounded by bones and lion skulls, while she's looking at you like "who's next?"

The Legendary Lioness seems to have been expecting you, and is impressed with your determination to meet her. Turns out the Love Goddess had been in contact with her all along, telling her about your adventures! She has already decided to go with you, so there's no need to claim her, you just have to choose her... or her hoard.

Before you would be the lioness, with her special background and all her traits listed below her image, while next to her would be the other option of her hoard.
Her hoard could consist of February exclusive items such as Yohimbe Barks(enough for one or two breeds), Scrotums, Baobab froots, leopard orchids, Grains of Paradise. Perhaps some IBF's or crunchy worms as well, so it would be extra tempting. Since this is the more difficult once-per-account option, I'm not cutting the rewards too short since you'd want it to equal out to your efforts. If you spent half a year trying to get this stuff, it would make sense not to skimp out on the end results!

If you choose the lady, she will act as a raffle lioness, and she will never leave your pride due to hunger or mood. She will come posed based on her personality and maybe even have some exclusive decor with her!
If choosing the lioness vs the hoard feels a little cheated maybe she could have a chance to bring some of her hoard along as well, but I'll leave that up to y'all and staff!

If this were to be annual, hosting every February, then the selections for your desired lioness would have to either be broadened to be less specific(more options and again, all must be filled) or severely limited to prevent it from getting out of hand! If you want the lioness to be completely randomized like a wenet-cousin but.. February themed, then that could also be an option! The journey would also be far less difficult and doable in a 28 to 29 day timeframe. Less lionesses to claim, less cubs to breed, etc.

Journey-exclusive bases, markings, eyes, etc. could be added if staff are willing, and instead of having a whole "build-a-lioness" experience you would add in suggestions, such as color preferences and marking types rather than being super specific. So the results could still fit your tastes and be really pretty! But it's not guaranteed to have ultra rare traits or special bases.
The "hoard" option would still stand! It would be much smaller, but still have a chance of handing out some non-February exclusive items like IBF's, maybe a gmo cow, gnawrock, cronchy worm, etc. OR you could choose to get a crap ton of heart shells instead if neither option suits your interests, so you could get what you want directly from the February shops! I wanna say a fair reward would probably be between 5000 and 10000 Heart Shells since they're so easy to get and people (including myself) can get upwards of 1k per day if they really tried.
