In the past few years, I've had the same x4 Rosette colorbomb king. He was my dream king, back in the day. Now, however, I've grown bored of him and want something new! This is where y'all come in! For 10  you will design a gorgeous king in the wardrobe!Things to know: β You MUST use the Cinnabar Dinictis Marking somewhere in your design, preferably somewhere in the first 10 slots. β Enter as many times as you'd like! β You can use BO markings! β You may apply decorations or backgrounds. β You may apply mutations and poses. β This contest is scheduled to end around October 1st! 1st Place winner: 10 2nd Place winner: 5 3rd Place winner: 2 Likes β€ πππππππππ  β€ Pastel β€ I dig details. I look at the eyes, the skin, the base, the mane color, and the mane type. (Please change the base, eyes, mane, mane color, and skin to fit your design.) I don't care how much you change just as long as it looks good. β€ Breed-Only or Combo Factor Bases β€ I want my king to look unique! β€ Please, pile on the markings! Use at least all first ten slots. Dislikes β€ I am not a fan of Hyena or Proteles markings. β€ Chatoyant β€ I dislike all brawl, rumble, and squabble markings. Grunge is okay but just okay. β€ Immolation β€ Too many rosettes (One rosette is good, but any more than that, no thank you.) β€ Blue Poinsettia β€ Lycaon β€ Cheetah (Unless Pulsar Cheetah) β€ Shaded Rosettes Please Note: - Entries with a βοΈ above them are my current favorites. Okay this is my second entry. Given I still love colorbomb and will always be drawn to them, I know how hard it is to make one stand out. Having had several of my own. So I went with that in mind, to make this lion stand out and be its own. @Rye - Sweet! I love what you've done with them. Good colors. There's only one critique I have, and it's for Lavender's Love Potion; I think having Water Hyacinth Brindle in the 10th markings slot kind of undermines/erases all the other markings, so I would love to see it in an earlier slot. That's my only critique, though! @Roby - Yes, I can absolutely change your design for you, if you'd like. @Max - Sweet! Cinnabar socks are so cute. @Kattemat - I like the Rime Feline idea! @Kyoki - You're right, that doubloon actually does look pretty damn good. @Silver - Lovely, thank you! The neutron and prismatic look great together. I think all he's missing are some brighter colors, like pulsar, ardor, etc. @Pluto - Yes, the white looks so good! Definitely brought a bit more contrast to the design. I think it's just down to personal preference now, but I would love to see some yellows in there, or maybe brighter pastel pinks? @Stitch - You do a wonderful job making things look bright and shiny. The white on this kitty goes wonderfully with everything else, and I love the protea. Good job! @Trakey - Yep! I've updated the thread to show all the new designs. I only do it once a day since it takes so long to critique and code. Anyways, here are your critiques: 1st design: I love the color, and I'm also a big nut for messy designs, as long as they manage to look good, which yours does! I think there's only one thing I would change: switch the goridhe out with a white marking. I'm not a big fan of goridhe because it's not a colorful marking, y'know? And I think white would really add some contrast. 2nd design: @Kristyna - Ah! So peachy cute! You've managed to make this design flow very well, and if I weren't such a colorbomb whore, I'd love it! My personal preferences would love to see some blues and purples in there, though. @Savage Kingdom - 1st design: Fucking nice. I love the colors and contrast here. No critiques! 2nd design: This design definitely stands out! Reminds me of a certain galaxybomb design I saw earlier. I can honestly say I'm not a big fan of the new interstellar marks; they looks good in some cases, but I'm not sure if they're colorbomb material. Nonetheless, you did wonderfully with the other markings. @ObliviousRain - Nice! I'm not the biggest fan of the cheetah marking, and I'd like to see more markings; however, I think your choice in base was fantastic. @ExtremeRatParkour - WoW! I can see why this took you so long; it's got hella markings, and they flow together very nicely! I only have one critique: I think the flamingo quagga is a bit invasive. That bright red muzzle is just a bit troublesome, I think. Maybe replace that marking. Otherwise, gorgeous! @Lionstep - Nice color, but I'm not sure I need so many cinnabar dinictis markings. I like the contrast and definition your designs have, but I'm not sure if doubling up markings is a good way to achieve that. Thank you, though! @Azreal - The cherry and citron look fantastic together, but I'd like to see them mesh a bit more. The cherry nuzzle seems to take up a lot of space without giving much room for other markings! @felinenosalgic - Hi! I remember you from a few design contests from a few years ago. You took part in the contest that helped my choose my side account's (this account's) current king! It's good to see you again. Your design has great choice in color; I see decennial, water hyacinth, pulsar, and my lovely cinnabar dinictis (+ points because it's not hidden!) I don't think I have any critiques for this design. Thank you! @Samantha - That zebra on the Jellyfish base looks great! While I like the thrashed markings, I'm not 100% sure if prune would be the color I'm looking for. Otherwise, lovely! I think this design absolutely has the capacity to be a favorite, if those thrashed markings are changed or replaced. @Crystal - You hit home with contrast and definition. The vitiligo looks great!
