That too, but also having old blocked user's topics pop up again when they bring them up is also kind of annoying. Ive had a negative experience with user, I blocked them, but its really not nice that now, 1-2 years later, they bump their topic and its up in my Activity again. I even forgot who they were already, but the topic said Unavailable and Im again remembering old negative experiences.
Would be really nice if those topics did not show up ever again. Dont really feel like making a Modbox report for Mods to delete my posts from every topic I dont want to see again, I think Moderators have many other important things to do. So it'd be nice if it was automatic; if topic cannot be viewed, it'd only make sense for it not to show in recent activity.

Full agree. I was blocked by a...decent quantity of people for my opinions on the Feb encounters and its driving me nuts to keep seeing the posts pop up. Especially because I now worry that I'm being hardcore insulted in locations I cannot see.

Unfortunately, I have a lot of choice words on that topic that I'm biting my tongue about, lol. But in short - people who are anti-feb encounters just seem to really, really hate anybody who is pro/neutral the encounters regardless of the reasonings. But that's a topic for places other than this thread :)

I had an experience where a user was using my forums and advertisements in the same exact format. And would bump others users/their posts to remove my forums from the page 1 section.

It happened years ago and I know its a rather odd experience but its very possible users go to that petty extent to ruin your experience. I was told mods couldn't do anything back then but my solution was a block should hide and remove any access to my posts/page.

I have noticed myself, and in more suggestion topics that just feb encounter related ones - when you disagree with someone and provide actual arguments why you dont agree, some people block you. So much for "please explain why you dont support" and then when you do, many go all rage mode "WHHAAAAT how dare you use arguments, Im blocking you!!" SO I guess some people just cant stand somebody having an actually argumented stance against their suggestion.

Pfffft yeah. Recent one I'm complaining about was one where I mentioned it was pretty icky how they were treating you it is what it is, though, and its no longer something I'm part of, so I really wish I just...couldn't see any of it. At least it seems that the community is taking my advice to heart on curating their own experiences and not have others do it for them XD

But yeah...lemme curate mine too and not see the post either. Plus it gets bumped a year later and I forgot to unsubscribe so it pops up and I'm just like...tf happened here I can't see it? And it really messes with my mind because I start hyperfocusing on trying to recall what was there.

Yeah, its a sad tendency some people have to think that if you dont share their opinion on something, then you're automatically a hater who just does it to spite them. Like their opinion is the only one that can exist, and any others are just done to attack them because nobody can possibly think otherwise - my dad is actually like this. uugghh...

All the more reason to kick blocked topics off the Recent Activity chart. I said my part, I dont want to see it again and it says Topic Unavailable so I cant, either, and its sad this topic is still haunting my Activity page.

I block people semi-frequently to curate my experience until we hopefully get better options like just muting people you find annoying. I'm all for suggestions improving the block functionality, it can get very irritating.

God I wish we had a way to like...block only specific people from interacting with us, but still be able to see their suggestions. That'd be nice. I unblocked somebody recently who I don't recall blocking, and I swear the suggestion forum tripled in size with a lot of really good responses. Kind of like when you block somebody in discord. They can see your suggestions, you have the option to see theirs...but they can't contact you privately.
